These walkie talkies are great.?I work at a day camp and me and my staff needed a form of communication when we would take the kids in the field and needed to communicate to each other from far away.?These worked great, high quality.?The maximum range that we used them at were probably 50 yards or so.?I like that it came with a belt clip, which was helpful to use throughout the work day.

Worth the investiment
I was reluctant at first but after a few months they've held up to two very active boys. We wanted to keep in touch with our kids when they go play in the neighborhood but weren't ready to get them cell phones. These worked out really well. Small, lightweight, and simple to use. Clear reception for about two miles and the best part is, if it get lost or dropped it not that expensive to replace compared to a phone.

Its an OK radio. Instruction Manual is very frustrating.
I wanted to like this radio but a few hours after using it, one of the radio's "voice" telling you what channel you are in suddenly disappeared. I looked over the manual to see if there was a way to "reset" the radio to its default configuration.The manual's English language will make you scratch your head. Though you can get by some of the instructions, you will close your eyes in frustration on the rest. The radio seems nicely built, all the buttons are responsive. But when something goes wrong, you can forget about getting information from the instruction manual. I bought this under prime and returning it for free.
