I bought this light bulb for my old GE range model J-BC16G0H1AD. I posted the model here so others will know it fit for their ranges as well. I made my own bread traditionally with oven (not bread maker machine) so I frequently check the color of the bread and recently the light burned out. I had experience to use flash light but it was no fun so I got to find a replacement. The socket is standard but the bulb is shorter and smaller than regular light bulb. Besides, there is a protection glass cup to cover this light to shield it from hot oil/liquid, so it must be smaller than this glass cup ... Anyway, this is a perfect fit for the range.

Help us to have kumquat trees indoor full of fruits from late fall to early spring while outside is snowing and having temperature in the 20s.

I paid the higher price for a better bulb since the older cheaper bulb we had in the oven lasted just four months. This one was put in on a Saturday afternoon, oven used quickly twice before Sunday morning. Turned the oven on to 200 degrees F on Sunday afternoon, and the bulb was out. Wasted money on it.

It worked. Perfect fit an made for my oven. What can I say? Recommend.

The bulb came in a box, not in a package, just a single bulb that looks dirty and used. I think someone took this out of their refrigerator threw it in a box and mailed it to me. Would not buy again.

The store bought appliance bulbs would blow when the temperature got to 500 degrees. Not anymore.
