I waited to write my review until all three of my kids had a chance to test the towel for the reason we wanted one; swim team. I'm pleased to report success! The towel is far lighter than a regular towel, takes up far less space in their bags and actually seems easier for them to use after a swim session. They seemed to come out of the changing room drier than usual, especially my youngest, which is a bonus. The fabric also feels like it would be easy for me to customize their towels with names or swim badges. Maybe personalizing towels would be a good add-on to offer?We'll definitely be buying a couple more of the towels.Update 7/19/2016: We are still very happy with these towels and have indeed added iron-on letters on each of my kids' towels. I prefer the blue color to the more recent grey purchase I made as that shows up dirt far quicker, which for gym and outdoor pool use is not great. I have however had to drop a star from the rating, not for the actual product but for the incessant spamming from the manufacturer. What more do you want, Bodi????!?! I wrote a glowing review, I made not one but two additional purchases and yet you still hound me for further reviews (and seem to be distinctly lacking in the free towel offer promise, incidentally...to date I have received zero free towels despite three purchases and review.) Don't spoil a great product by constantly hounding your happy customers and annoying them!

Bought a grey and the light pink towel for a trip to Iceland and used it for visiting all the lagoons. The towel is bigger than I expected, and I was able to wrap it completely around and still cover from armpits to above my knees. It dries very quickly and worked great! The only thing is it definitely works better to do the pat dry technique. Harder to dry yourself if you are using it to wipe dry like cotton towels.Before using I followed the cleaning instructions and put it in boiling water. When I came back from the trip I just threw it in the washing machine and hung to dry. Still good.

I LOVE THIS TOWEL, but if you order this towel here on amazon from Bodi Towel expect to be harassed to review said product. Again I LOVE THIS TOWEL A LOT! I am writing this review after no exaggeration the 7th email I have received since getting my towel late last week. It would be safe to say expect at least one email a day from the day you order from this company asking you to review. I want to stress this is an amazing towel, but be prepared to SPAMMED all the time because of your interest in a product. I understand the company is attempting to get feed back so they can better improve their product/ services (hopefully) but there is a line that once crossed it becomes borderline harassment. I would tell people to buy this towel but not to buy it from Amazon through this company unless they what to be adding spam to their inbox.

The towel is amazing. After swim lessons, my daughter patted herself dry and I wrapped the towel around her still dripping ponytail. The towel soaked up every last drop of water. Her hair and swimsuit were almost completely dry and she was able to ride in our car without soaking the seats. Other parents began inquiring immediately about the towel, its performance, and compact size. I wrung out the towel, hung it up, and it was dry in less than an hour.Be sure to read the instructions the seller emails as they are very helpful for optimum peformance and to avoid misuse.We will definitely order more in the future.

These towels are fantastic! Took them to the Bahamas last week and they worked great. Dried us fast and then dried itself fast and didnt hold beach sand once dried (a HUGE accomplishment!) Got home, washed them per instructions and they easily folded right back into the mesh travel bag they came in. Easy and small enough to store in my sock drawer. I LOVE THEM!! The bag also has a loop so l could attach it to my beach bag after using them so nothing in my beach bag got wet or sandy. Comes with a great warranty too!

We will be using this as a blanket rather than a towel. My husband and I are taking a trip to Europe. I get so cold on the airplane ride and like SOMETHING to snuggle under. But this trip we are going as minimalistic as possible! I have found backpacking/lightweight blankets but they are usually plasticy type and I didn't want that. So, that said ... While we haven't actually used these, I think they will do the job. The requirements were to take up as little space as possible and yet have a soft feel. We have both given it a trial run by just covering ourselves up with it. Gray for my hubby and blue for me. I'm much smaller than him and it covers me quite well. While it is a little short for my husband, he never gets as cold as me! The price and dimensions (5' by 2-1/2') beat the others out there. I wish it was just a little bit bigger by a couple inches length and width but it is obviously supposed to just be used as a towel ! The price was much, much better than the price of a backpacking blanket!One concern I have is that I hope it doesn't shrink up after washing, which I haven't had a chance to do yet. We will need every inch!So far I think Bodi Towel has solved my "I need every bit of space in my backpack but I need to be warm on the plane" problem.

OMG I love this towel! My daughter is a competitive swimmer and swims 5 days a week. Very light weight. A soft smooth suede-like texture. Absorbs a lot of water. Dries quickly. Holds up well in the wash. Takes up very little room in my daughter's swim bag and it comes in a great, reusable nylon & mesh pouch with Velcro closure and a built-in loop for hanging! Loved it so much that I ordered one for every day of the week since she swims practically every day. The grey is her favorite because her USA league team colors are "scarlet & grey" and her summer rec team is the "sharks" so, it is really nice that she can use the towel for both leagues - especially in the summer when she has practice twice a day!

I first saw your towel whilst on holiday in Greece in May, another couple were using them and said how good they are.I have since bought and sent over to my son in South Africa (a very keen sportsman), he to start with was very sceptical but cannot stop raving about the towel that I sent over. I am planning on going over at Christmas to visit him, and have strict instructions to bring at least another two over for him….So well done, and I look forward to receiving my Free Towels, after all it will probably be going over to South Africa at Christmas with me.

Couldn't have received this item faster. Really impressed with the speed of delivery and the quality of the product. Most products absorb 4 times this their weight in water but this comes in at 7-9 times!! Also a another reason to go with this is the mesh bag it comes with as the bag will let it dry sooner and not get mouldy. One of the other models I had my eye on had a solid case bag which put me off purchasing it. It comes at a very good price point for the amount of MicroFibre towel you get. For a full length towel at this price it cant get any better.

Bought two of these towels for our holiday in America. They come beautifully packaged in an individual pouch each and feel very soft. I washed them for the 1st time today and they have washed and tumble dried well. They take up about as much space as two folded pillow slips. I agree with some of the previous reviewers that more vibrant colours would be nice, but currently it is light grey for "him" and "pink" for me. Can't wait to test them properly!

Great towels and they are so easy to carry anywhere with you. They absorb a lot of water and are great for holidays or the gym. The colours are beautifully subtle and I am amazed at how efficiently they dry the skin with no friction as you can just pat the skin surface dry so easily. Packing them is no problem so you always have a suitable towel and I keep one in the car for emergencies as well.

Perfect for children's swimming lessons. I cannot fault this towel, it is light, easily washed and dried with no need for a tumble dryer, packs away to nothing and dries much better than a traditional towel. My daughter loves it. It dries her after her lessons in no time at all and is light enough for her to do it herself. it takes up no room in the bag or the washing machine. I no longer have a cold, damp child to try and dress while all the clothes stick to her. Brilliant!

Having just part exchanged our caravan for a very small campervan conversion, We've been downsizing everything and someone put me onto microfibre towels and wow, I see what they mean. Instead of having our minute wardrobe full of towels, these little towel packs certainly do the trick - take up hardly any room and dry in no time. Even thinking of using them in our home bathroom when the heating is off for the summer. Would strongly recommend them to other campervan users!

Great towel, brought 2 for the kids. Super soft chamois style, very absorbant and fast drying. Taken them to the swimming pool and the beach so far. A big hit around the paddling pool too.

A fantastic piece of kit! I needed it for a coming Alps backpacking trip, and have been testing it out daily for the past couple of weeks. It dries you, and then itself, amazingly fast, and remains just about free of odour. Also, it packs really small. I've no idea how it works (but then, I didn't understand Brian Cox explaining an ORDINARY towel either..) Verdict - ideal.

This is a great sports towel and exactly what I expected it to be in terms of fabric and size. It's plain grey and as large as a bath towel, if not slightly bigger. Perfect for my son's school trip as packs really small and weighs almost nothing and will dry fast!

I am off backpacking to SE Asia and didn't want to take a bulky, heavy towel that would take ages to dry.This is lightweight, small and comes in a little bag just bigger than the size of my hand.The towel is large enough to wrap around me and is pleasantly soft.Would recommend to fellow travellers.

Space at a premium on board yacht and needed good size towel that would dry quickly. Very pleased with my purchase. Soft to touch and packs nicely into bag provided. Used as beach towel and sand shook off easily rather than getting clogged into terry towel loops of standard beach towel. Would recommend .

Family heading off on our summer holidays and these towels are ideal for a travelling light to avoid luggage charges. Postage was really fast so no worrying about if the towels would arrive on time. Towel is compact and light weight without being too small
