Handcuffs NOT optional!I am SO IN LOVE with Chase and Livia's story, I cannot even. I devoured this book and never wanted it to end! If you love a dirty talking, tattooed alpha with a heart of gold, then you MUST meet Officer Kelly. This guy is at the top of my list of ALL OF THE THINGS. Aannnd he is a dirty talker. OH. GOD. YES. My weakness. Seriously. He doesn't just talk the talk, he walks the walk. He definitely lived up to the name Officer Good Times. RAWR. I'd definitely play Hide the Nightstick with him. Multiple times.Speaking of multiples....The sexy times were off the charts freaking HOT. Like. WHOA. These two. The chemistry. I needed a fan and not for my face. I mayyyy have read most of the sexy scenes multiple times actually. Just sayin'. They are THAT achingly good. There is this one scene though...I think I got pregnant from reading it. *moans* Not that I'm complaining.This love story had my heart doing EVERYTHING. Everything!!! It beat, hard. It fluttered, a lot. And man, did it MELT. Chase and Livia's love journey gave me the feels. BIG FEELS. I didn't expect to experience so many emotions! I cried. I swooned. I clutched my heart! And the banter between Chase and Livia was so fun! I laughed so much my face literally hurt. These two were so, so perfect for each other! PERFECT! The sexy librarian and the #HAF officer. YES. PLEASE.Laurelin Paige and Sierra Simone created magic. I loved everything about Hot Cop! If you are looking for a hot summer romance that will make your ovaries explode, then you must one read Hot Cop!

This book!!! I LOVE this book so much!!It has all of my favorite things:~Super hot, cocky alpha. And he's a man in uniform at that!~Awesome banter~LUST at first sight~Tons and tons of frantic hot sex~A couple that TRIES to fight it.~Cheesy one-liners that make me laugh.~More hot sex. (No pants required for this book. Or panties.)~Feelings that just sneak up on you!!! I didn't anticipate for my chest to squeeze or my stomach to drop.~Did I mention Chase is a cop? Because...handcuffs...I read this book in one day, then attacked my husband during daylight hours. (We have kids, this is really rare.)Bottom line: MUST READ!! ONE CLICK NOW!!

I am so excited when I heard 2 of my favorite authors were going to write another book - I am even more excited to say that Hot Cop is so hot, sexy and funny all wrapped into a great story.Livia Ward has 365 days before her life ends - she will be turning 30. She doesnt want a man - doesnt believe in them but she does want something that is her own a baby. When she meets Chase Kelley the hottest cop in Kansas City she may just have found the solution to her problem.When Chase Ward sees Livia the attraction is instant, now she has a proposition for him that can satisfy his itch for her with no obligations. That is until they start spending time together Chase realizes he may want obligations and Livia.What these authors bring to the story is humor and their signature writing styles. They dont shy away from the sex (or they dirty talk) but they also make sure the readers care about the characters. first and foremost. The anxiety and almost fear Livia feels is something I know I experienced before turning 30; while the fear of leaving family behind that a cop must feel is something that Chase wrestles with. The dialog is smart and true to the characters and the dual POV's just add to the Chase and Livia's story. I loved the ending - it was a great payoff.All in all if you are looking for a hot sexy summer read Hot Cop is perfect!

Livia is pure goodness and has taken a teen under her wing; a teen who keeps her on her toes with her causes. 😀 But, Livia has walls a mile deep as a result of past hurts and has cast off all men...until Hot Cop has her speechless, jaw on the floor, drooling and staring. (Quite literally)Hot Cop, aka Chase Kelly, is what dreams and stolen private moments are made of. 😍 He knows it and works it; WELL, might I add. He's got life all worked out and has females literally throwing themselves at him. A chance encounter during a traffic backup at the local high school (with Livia's teen friend) has him amused at enamored with Livia. She walked away. From him?! He figures out who she is and plans a sneak attack with "little" weapons. Oh, he wants her and makes no bones about it. 😂😂😂The antics increase as their sexual chemistry flares. He's got all the moves and her blushes and secret naughty side turn him on. He's on a mission. He's Officer Good Times! But Livia has her own mission and it will stop him in his tracks. This is quite amusing! Chase shows Livia what they could have and both pursue their mission relentlessly.The next month is filled with clocks, calendars and texts. And the sex?! The sex had me fanning myself, blushing and wanting! 🤗 These two are "banging" EVERYWHERE!! Funny, sexy and HOT!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥 four-alarm fire hot!Something changes on their mission for personal success, opening them to hurt, distress and visions of how things could be.Their story is passionate and fun. Take a walk through the stacks at the library or a ride in the back of a police car with Livia and Chase as they melt everything in the vicinity. Laugh with them. Hurt with them. And slap them silly when they can't see the path to happiness. But at the end of it all, the fairytale ending includes Officer Good Times and his Naughty Librarian and his own personal "squishies".I thoroughly enjoyed Hot Cop!! Five stars for this highly entertaining story.
