These case checkers work as advertised....almost always. I ran through 200 cases and 30 did not pass case check. almost all of the brass was made by R&P that failed. Some R&P passed. Curious, I looked into this into further detail. The case checker inside diameter is not 0.380 per the SAAMI spec for 357 Mag but 0.377. The paperwork from the manufacturer stated that there is a 2mil tolerance with their case checker dimensions which is not mention in the description. Overall I am satisfied with the product. I checked the 38 Special and it had the same issue.

This case gauge worked great & I continue to use it every time I’m loading 38/357. I wish they made their 308 case with the same quality materials as this one. I had to send the 308 gauge back.

Exactly as described. Simple to use. Unlike competitors gauge that arrived new and rusted. Please get the 44mag gauge in stock. Would definitely buy it even though I have another gauge for 44mag already

Other .357 gage did not test OAL. Saves time not having to pull out caliper. This is the best one I have found.
