Hoodman H32MB HoodLoupe Outdoor Viewfinder for 3.2" LCD Screens with Xpix Cleaning Kit

I put off buying this item in favor of a lot of other gear I "needed." I just used this for the first time and It Is Amazing! I can see the screen to check my photos, even in the blazing desert sun, 🏜, and I don't need to try to find my glasses each time as the unit has a diopter which adjusts the view allowing me to see the screen without glasses. It changes (enhances) the screen a little so I just have to keep that in mind as I review my shots.This is a great tool and I just wish I had saved myself a lot of frustration by purchasing one sooner.

I have 3 cameras which only have LCD screens for video monitoring and would cost around $500 per camera to add view finders. This goes right over the lcd screens which are all slightly different sizes, and allows me to see focus and exposure even in bright daylight. This is a must have.

I've been using Hoodman loupes for years. This recent order was a replacement for one I accidentally damaged. The new loupe is an improved version. It is designed as two pieces that can be separated and nested together for more compact storage. It better covers the large LCD of my Nikon D850--3.2". This loupe is a must for viewing your image, especially when shooting outdoors.

The HoodLoupe itself is great! However, I wish you had not included the cheap X-Pix “photo kit” of poor cleaning tools. I did not need/want those and would rather have had a cheaper HoodLoupe. Adding cheap crap like that does not add value - just cheapens the purchase experience.

“A Real Eye Opener”. I can actually see my pics in the brightest sun to make manual adjustments. This is a game changer. I recommend.

I was vacillating between a less expensive loop and this one but am glad I went the extra cost. I have yet to 'field test' this, but having just opened the package and tried it outside, I am sure this will do the trick and the optics seem very clear. I will update this review after my next shoot if it is not what I had hoped. As of now, I am happy with the purchase.

This is a wonderful thing to have to review images outside in the bright sun. LOVE IT!
