Worth the money, if you appreciate a good tool.
Well made, works as advertised, use it almost every day. Was a few dollars more than some of the others, but everything from plunger tolerances to the return spring are better than the cheaper versions. If you want or need one of this type, you can't go wrong with Dualco. Only downside is you cannot retrofit cheaper models with the Dualco cap and plunger as the threads are not compatible with the cheaper model barrels. I bought a cheaper one for home use, as I use my Dualco in the bike shop where I work part time. Strangely enough, until I read some reviews and looked more closely at instructions, I, nor anyone else in the shop did not realize the proper way of loading and priming the gun. Many of these babies have been destroyed by trying to force the bottom up with various tools, without unscrewing the top enough to expose the groove designed to relieve the pressure when loading the unit or removing a gap in the grease in the gun. One can pound all you want, but unless you relieve the pressure, all you will succeed in doing is distorting the bottom disc and ruining the gun. I bought another Dualco for home use, the cheap one makes a good paper weight.

Following inclosed directions!
I received my Dualco grease gun yesterday and it was so easy to fill and prime it, Anyone who has problems with this obviously did NOT follow the instructions for filling it and priming it. I used a putty knife to fill mine and packed it full of grease, and tapped it on my palm several times and must have got all the air bubbles out for when I left the top loose and stuck a screw driver through slot in the bottom, there was a little grease that came out. I tightened the top, wiped off excess grease off the side and it worked beautifully. This grease gut certainly works as advertised, IF you read the instructions. I would certainly recommend this product.

Great little grease gun.
I love this mini grease gun. It is very handy to have in the shop when you just need a little grease and don’t want to dig in the grease tub and get all messy. I did buy the longer needle for applications where I need to get into hard to reach places. I own two different models (the other has a quick connect with interchangeable tips and a zerk to allow filling the gun using a standard size grease gun). This model is easy to hand fill if you follow the directions and puts out a small precise amount of grease. It is built like a tank and I expect it to be around when I’m gone, still pumping grease. I think only the gasket would need replacing. This grease gun, like the rest of Dualco’s grease guns are all modular, meaning you can add/change attachments on them for your specific needs. They are a bit pricey if adding different attachments but they are sturdy, well built little grease guns. I consider it an investment though. A small price to pay for a great little tool, and it’s made in the USA.

Excellent Micro Grease Gun
What a great micro grease gun! Great for small projects. It works very well with the vacuum, but even better with pressure on the follower. I took apart a 2 inch pop up lawn sprinkler, and took out the stainless steel spring. I then twisted the spring into the grease gun through the key hole; it pushes up the follower and all you have to do is put the grease in before you screw it together.

GREAT for those hard to reach places!
This time last year I watched the garage door service guy use one of these to grease the pinch points, mini wheels, track and ball bearings on our garage doors. I asked him where he got it, he said Amazon. So I did the research... also ordered the better tip, grease and gloves and this year did it myself. The money I saved allowed me to do the job myself. One tip I will share, and for some this will be obvious. 1) Follow instructions. You have to make sure you "tap" down the loose grease while you are hand packing it. Take your time, do it right and you will be rewarded with a steady stream of grease where you want it. 2) Make sure you pack the gun and use grease when it's warm enough. The "extra long tip" that I ordered separately REALLY helped to get those hard to reach places.

Yes ... buy this one
I use this on my chainsaw bars. It works perfectly. It should work perfectly anywhere else you need to get grease into a small port or fitting where a standard grease gun fitting won't work/fit.There are slightly cheaper knock-offs of this design, but I bought this one and I'm certainly glad I did. It's manufactured nicely and made in the U.S. - which may or may not be important to other buyers. With that said, it also comes with instructions (it's not difficult, but if you're not getting grease out the end, there's probably a simple and easy reason why). And it has a schematic drawing with a parts list. So yes - in the event you need to fix it at some point, you can actually get replacement parts (plus there are auxiliary nozzles/hoses you can purchase as well). And you can actually contact them for help if you need it (which is unlikely).Dualco uses the tag line "100% Recyclable & Repairable". In today's throw-away world, I find that rather refreshing.

Good little grease gun
I bought this dualco grease gun for working on my bikes, and I couldn't be more satisfied with this purchase. The key to this grease gun is making sure that you load it so that there aren't air bubbles in the grease container. Read the directions provided with the grease gun and you shouldn't have any problems. Once it is loaded correctly and the grease comes out reasonably quickly and very controlled. I just finished repacking the bearings for 3 sets of pedals and this gun made the job easy and relatively mess-free. For anyone reading this that is also purchasing grease at the same time, the Motorex 2000 grease tub comes with a plastic insert that makes loading the grease gun super easy - watch the video on the Motorex site for more info. The one thing I do not believe this grease gun supports is screwing a tube of grease to it. I meant to check that before I loaded the grease gun but forgot to. I don't know if the cheaper grease guns support using the tubes, but I know that the Park Tool grease gun does. This grease gun wasn't the cheapest, nor was it the most expensive. But it is well-built and seems like it should last a long time. I would definitely recommend this to friends.
