Really good value for a great bike.
I bought this bike as a Christmas gift for my girlfriend. She is really excited to have a bike that will allow her to ride some trails with me. To start with, this bike is good looking. It is well made and it is clear that attention has been paid to fit and finish. Most importantly, its fits my girlfriend. She is 5'6" which was right on the border of a small or medium. I bought her the small size (15") which was the right choice. Assembly was straight forward, fairly simple and took about an hour. Included in the packaging are the tools needed to complete assembly. I Installed the seat post assembly, then handle bar assembly. Flipped the bike over and installed the front wheel, pedals. Next, I connected the front brakes and made adjustments. Aired up the tires and took it for a quick spin. The bike rode good and the gears shifted great without a need for adjusting. If you're in the market for a new bike, don't overlook this model and don't be reluctant to take on the assembly yourself.

Good bike for the price.
So far the Eva 2 seems to be a good bike. Not going to lie, it took me a while to put together. This is the first bike I have ever put together, so it took me longer than expected. I did learn alot from putting it together. I do wish there had been more instruction included as there were vary little. I went online to Raleigh's web site and downloaded instructions but even those were not fully specific to the Eva 2 and I still had to look up some YouTube videos for instruction. The bike itself is lite and looks great. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase, the bike rides smoothly and the seat is ok, still deciding on if I will buy a different seat. I did go ahead and add a kickstand just to make my life easier.

Best bike for petite woman
I was a little skeptical about my ability to put this together. But, with a little help from the internet, I got it together and it is wonderful!! I am only 4'11" and it is hard to find an adult bike to fit me. This is one of the few petite women's bikes that I could find. I love to ride and am training for a long distance ride. I can't imagine finding a better option!!

Is it a good bicycle?
I received the bicycle September 22,2017 and put the bicycle together September 23,2017 for my daughter. Putting the bicycle together was fairly simple. I didn't even read the instructions. I fallowd the picture diagrams. After putting the bicycle together, I inspected the bicycle and realized the bicycle is well made for the price. I'm 6'3" and weight 210 and I test ridethe bicycle and it handled very well. The paint work is impressive. The gears changed smoothly and it handled my weight very well. If you are looking for a quality bicycle for yourself or family member, even as a gift, I recommend this bicycle.

Took it out with my friend who has a $2k ...
Took it out with my friend who has a $2k Heller hardtail, and we switched bikes halfway through and my friend was really surprised and impressed with the Eva2. I only paid $207 for mine, as a returned "scratch and dent special" through Amazon Warehouse. I'm still trying to find the scratch or dent, so I think I got a killer deal!!!

Very nice bike. My daughter loves it
Arrived as advertised. Very nice bike. My daughter loves it. Easy to assemble as well if you have basic experience/understanding of such things. The only flaw I could comment on is that the rear derailleur hanger came bent out of the box, making tuning a challenge. After carefully bending it back (with breath held expecting a break), the rear derailleur tuned just fine.Great bike for the price.

Raleigh knows how to build bikes!
Love my new bike. Really smooth ride and fits me perfectly. I should have bought it years ago. Off road riding has never been so fun. I can keep up with my 10 year old now.
