I actually used the handle of a cheap wall hanger katana to make a new shifting knob after the original popped off, but the threaded rod I used to secure it snapped off after a month. This one is much sturdier, as it is held on with 6 set screws. The tsuba did come a little rattly at first, but after putting this on the shaft of my shifter and tightening the set screws, it no longer rattles or moves at all. The handle wrapping hasnt come loose after nearly 3 months, no signs of wear, and the set screws havent fallen out, but I did put some blue loctite on them just to be safe. All in all, a very stylish and comfortable shifting grip, and it is pretty well made and worth the price.

Its looks cool

This was a gift and it looks ridiculous. The idea is great but poor quality. The thread had already started to unravel after a couple weeks use. I bought it originally for an Acura Integra but had to use it for a Toyota Pickup instead based on the sheer size of it. It does not go all the way to the base of the shifter as I thought it did, it sits on top. Husband liked it, I just thought it could have been better.
