Great little bag!
Great little bag, I bought it to carry extra clothes on the Triple Bypass ride (120 miles through the mountains) and it worked well. I found that the best way to attach it with drop bars is to the leave the straps a little loose so that there is still room for my hands on the tops of the bars - if I tighten the straps all the way, the bag is just a little too wide and gets in the way, but if I leave it loose then I can rest my hands between the bars and the bag and it's no problem. The bag just rests against the brake/shifter cables so it doesn't swing around, and since it's so small it's not heavy enough to interfere with them. The only downside I found is that the opening is really small. I tried to fit a camera in there during a training ride and even though the camera had plenty of room in the bag, I had trouble getting it through the opening. But I managed to squeeze in leg warmers, long finger gloves, a wind vest, a spare tube, CO2 and a small patch kit with a little room to spare.

this product would probably perfect for someone using it lightly around town or on ...
This bag did what I needed it to do for a three week tour down the west coast and nothing more. My expectations were low based on other reviews, and the bag exactly met them. I was worried that it wouldn't hold up through my whole trip, but it was cheap so I crossed my fingers and went for it. In the end the bag did make it through, but I was not really impressed and likely won't use it again. Take it with a grain of salt though-- my review is as someone on a bike tour; this product would probably perfect for someone using it lightly around town or on day trips,Pros: the right size for my bike and not too bulky, holds a fair amount of weight (I had tons of snacks, a tool, maps, glasses, wallet and important documents, a buff and gloves, and a u-lock in it), bright red interior makes it easier to find things, it has a clear map pocket, side pockets for snacks, water-resistant-ish, the snap button that allows you to clip the map pocket up to see while riding didn't break, velcro attachment points held up nicely, cheap compared to other bar bagsCons: the stabilizing bungee straps broke at the connection point just a few days into the trip, the velcro straps (while sturdy) did not prevent the bag from rotating forward (and I don't think anything would), not waterproof overall and even the the clear map pocket allows water to seep in (though I discovered that when flipped up it helps keeps the bag itself more dry), the side pockets can only hold small things (imagine just a stuffed up bandana, that's it)The photo is the only one I have of my bike setup. You can see though how big the bag is in relation to my bike.

It is functional but could be better
I chose this bag for the price point. It is the small bag. I've used it and it carries my phone, a Galaxy s8 and I put a bottle of bug spray in it too. It's low profile, doesn't take up a lot of space and carries small things. So it's functional. But boy I have to wonder if they did product testing to get user feedback. The amount of space you get in the opening is very small. I took a photo of my hand in it to give an idea of this. Also took a photo of a Galaxy s5 in the opening to show it.It's due to the stiff piece of plastic inside giving it the round shape. If they didn't take the edges of that all the way to the zipper it might function better. And they made it damn difficult to get the plastic out if a person wants to so they could cut some off to make this easier to open. This is why I went with 3 stars.

Perfect size for fitting under brake lines on mountain bike!
I looked forever for the right sized bag (I bought the small) that wouldn't interfere with brake lines on my mountain bike. I did take out the plastic sheet that gives it the rounded shape, with it in it pressed against the lines. Its perfect for a tube of chapstick, my tire gauge, keys and anker charger for my phone with room to spare.. Its well made, looks like it will last a long time, zipper runs smoothly.

A new way to store essentials
I liked this bag much better after I pried the hard plastic liner out of it. I decided to try this type of bag because I was trying to find a safe place to keep my "yuuuge" Samsung Galaxy phone. I could also fit a tube & all of the other things for changing flats. After attaching the bag to the handlebars, I cinched it up tightly with a strip of Velcro. So i removed the rear bag & will try this for now.

It's OK.
It works reasonably well. The snap securing the flap requires a lot of effort. The map pocket could be easier to use. I think designs with a zipper around 3 sides of the top work better than designs with a zipper across the middle of the top.

It's a pretty stiffly lined bag, so it's got solid protection. I took it on a 7 day, 545 mile bike ride, and it definitely held up. But the stiffness makes it difficult to access. After testing a few bags, I prefer the bags with a flap, kind of like the bento style bags. They're just easier to get into. This bag is good for holding things that are bigger, and that you don't need to access while riding (locks, extra tubes, tools).I'd give it 4 stars, but I was a little underwhelmed compared to other bags I've used.

Great bag, but if you ride with your hands ...
Great bag, but if you ride with your hands on the tops it will abrade your knuckles eventually. Would be perfect if it had some softer material sown onto the back to avoid that. Perfect size for carrying those extras you want to have along for long rides.
