Review: Truly Works Wonders - My very fat 15yo cat managed to get himself hung up on something & ended up tearing a tendon in his leg. Our normal vet was out of town so we had to see the temp vet. She said that the kitty was going to need expensive surgery. Especially because his wt & age would make it very unlikely that it would heal on its own. We were given an antiinflammatory & something for his pain, to try for a wk or 2 & then come in for a recheck. So kitty was avoiding walking & had severe limp when he did walk. He couldn't jump @ all & could not do stairs. He was very obviously in severe pain & just miserable. It was awful! I hate it when my babies aren't well & I can't do anything. So we went to the follow up appt (our normal vet was back). Our vet likes to treat conservatively first. He said surgery would be tough on kitty due to his age & wt, it could be risky. Review: I cut this into slices for my toothless cat, Very effective! - I waited a few weeks after administering this to my cat in order to provide a clear and useful review. My 14 year old toothless cat Teddy loves these (thank goodness!) and now comes running when he hears the bag being picked up. I cut the treat into about 9 small slices and he gobbles them right down. His younger sister (3 yrs old) always comes running at that time and wants some too, so I end up giving her something else more age appropriate for her. They both wolf their treats down and are happy, and so am I! As to the efficacy of this product for my 14 year old cat, previously he was getting stiff and groaning whenever he would get up and also whenever I would pick him up. He walked with very stiff legs. He also sometimes missed when jumping up from the floor to the couch, and pretty much stayed in one place all day. I've been giving him one treat daily (he's 9 pounds) and after a week or so, he stopped groaning when getting up from a nap or when we picked him up. **Q: My cat won't eat any of the cat treats out there!! If I bought them, can you guarantee he'll eat them??**
A: On the advice of our vet, my 18-year old cat has been eating these daily since early May.  She is no longer carefully arranging her paws to get comfortable and will even take small jumps again.  She is too old to chew them up although she likes them.  So we run the whole bag thru the grinder and feed her about 1/3 teaspoon of the chopped treats in her food.

**Q: What’s the difference in gycoflex 2 vs 3**
A: The Glyco Flex 3 has additional ingredients to help support our feline friends once Glyco Flex 2 may not be strong enough for them. Therefore the Glyco Flex 3 is stronger.

**Q: What is the best way to keep these pills moist? I have sealed the package after every use, but I can tell they are getting hard.**
A: My cat is 15lbs so I give her 1 1/2 treats 2x a day. What I do is cut one in half and put the other 1/2 back in the bag. I agree the treats do get hard so I cut the 1 1/2 into 6 pieces, dab them with a little water then nuke them for 10 seconds, it gives off a strong smell and make them softer and she eats them.

**Q: what is the difference between the glyco 3 and plus,   they seem to have samme ingredients in them?**
A: The manufacturer is correct that Plus has chondroitin whilst 3 does not, but manufacturer also fails to mention that Plus has  LESS of the green-lipped mussel than 3 does (by one-third, or 100mg, which is significant), so it seems that this isn't entirely a step up, and should be priced the same instead of $2 more since we are actually less of one of the ingredients. It's a "plus" and  "minus".

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exactly what we needed...

It's hard to find pain management for cats,l (either prescription or not.) Glucosamine/Chondroitin and MSM supplements seems to help with arthritis longer-term, but I discovered that a good Omega-3 supplement really help more immediately with my own arthritis, Fibromyalgia, and inflammatory issues, so I searched for a good one for my cat who is getting older and our northern winter's really effect us all. So I did my research and have this a shot. This formula really does good for him. We tried the lower/medium dose version which did seem to help, but as winter came along we switched to the higher dose. It really does help - you can see it in how he walks, plays and the look on his eyes (less pain, more "himself.") The only issue I have is that even keeping the zip lock top sealed, they tend to try out pretty quickly if you don't use them in the directed amount if time. They're still usable, but I break them in half and squish it a bit to make it softer for him. But it's worth it for the difference it makes in his pain and comfort level. I'm told there are other good brands out there and may experiment with them, but I like the ingredient list in this one and how well it works. Even my cat realizes the difference and now "asks" for his medicine in the morning... If you're looking for a good Omega-3/anti-inflammatory supplement for a cat, I highly recommend. And no, I was never paid nor did I receive anything free for this evaluation.
