Great Customer Service
First one had problems of belt breaking and squeeled from the start, but contacted the company and they sent me a new without issue so far. Tumbles good and belt seems correct tightness. Even though the first one didn't work right I gave 5 stars because of the customer service I received in replacing it. I think this tumbler will work out.

Good solid product, easy to use for hobbyist
My son received a smaller tumbler as a gift, and wanted to try the next size up. We are only hobbyist, but so far this has worked very well. Easy to use for my 11 yr old, and good quality stones have been produced.

Do not get this one
I purchased two of these at the same time thinking that they could do all of the coarse grinding and I could polish and finish up using the National Geographic tumblers (one each of two sizes). On day two, one of the belts broke and on day three the other one started squeaking up a storm and vibrating to the point that it scooted itself across the floor. The instructions should have clued me in. They advertise themselves as 3lb capacity tumblers, but that three pounds also includes water and what-ever else. So my question is why the big barrel if a three pound limit means that the barrel is only half full? These machines are extremely high maintenance, so unless you are a formula 1 driver who also like to tumble rocks, don't get these. The ones from Nat Geo are so much easier to use and so far are out-performing these green things.

A seller that stands by their promises.
I had a dual drum tumbler and it was always breaking belts. I looked at Amazon's ratings for these and saw that all dual drum models rated low and decided to buy the single drum with a great rating. It made funny noises when turned on so I sent a message to the seller. They responded immediately and sent me another one. I am very happy with it and with my decision to change models.

Very Nice Tumbler !
This tumbler is a step-up from the child's version we had to start with. It will hold more rocks and is just made to last longer. Our interest in rocks and rock tumbling is growing. As our hobby increases, will probably go to a bigger one.The noise level is just what it is---you have rocks tumbling around in a cylinder. They're going to make some noise. It would be better if we didn't have it in the house I think. Maybe the shed. Overall, a very good product for our level of rockhounding :)

Drive Belts Breaking
Overall, its a pretty well made machine. The motor is good, with a heavy duty metal carcass. My problem is the cheap drive belts. 5 extra belts come with the unit which are much needed, but insufficient! The 1st belt lasted less than 24 hours, the next two belts have lasted about 4 days each (now I only have two left and at this rate will not be able to finish my batch). I wanted an extra tumbler for running small polish jobs and hoped this would be good enough. Also, the fan is made of hard plastic which is not good. Sticking my index finger inside to change a belt I touched the fan and broke off three fins. Really too bad - this unit should score an A, but for a couple cheap parts can't give it more than a C-

Good product but remember to buy the grit.
Very solid build. Good instructions. I was very pleased to see about 5 or so extra pulley belts in the package. Please note you need to separately purchase the grit to polish your rocks.

Save your money
I have a tumbler I got at Harbor Freight, works great, use it a lot so when I saw this Green Single Drum 3lb Hobby Rotary Rock Tumbler Polisher, I saw it was the same but just green instead of red, well that was my first mistake, The first time I used it it broke the drive belt, humm that must be why they send you 5 extra, so while replacing the belt I noticed the pulley the belt rides on wobbles BAD!!! not much I can do about it so I installed the new belt, well 5 belts later Im done messing with this garbage so save your money
