It's true that only every 3rd snowflake lights, which is why I gave it 4 out of 5 stars. However, there's enough snowflakes that it still looks cute. The snowflakes blink fairly quickly, which makes it look like the snowflakes are chasing each other when they light up. It almost gives an optical illusion that they're all blinking anyway. If this item caught your eye, I'd definitely purchase it. Great for winter holiday events. If you have kids, buy them their own because they'll be asking to borrow yours!

These were great for the one day that I wore them. After that, half of the lights went out. I'm supposed to get replacement, but haven't yet.

Last year I bought this necklace for a night time Christmas 5 mile race and the wire broke after a couple of uses. I just threw it away. This year, I bought it again for the same race and the wire broke after just one use. This time I decided to return it for a refund because that's just insane. I wish the product worked, but I'm happy that the seller is refunding my money. I won't be buying it again, but at least I'm only out the amount I paid for the necklace last year.

This flashing light necklace came with a black cord and the flashing lights were bright blue. The one I received was not the same as pictured. I don't mind as I love all of these flashing lights necklaces. I also did not receive any replacement batteries as stated in the description.

kids always enjoy lighting up. They are fun for the holidays. seem to work fine, and easy to put on

This is a pretty necklace but it would look a lot better if all the lights flashed instad of every other one.

this necklace was used for a few different parties I got great compliments- however, some of the lights stopped working and the battery life isn't as long as you would think it should be. It's a great addition to some ugly holiday wear... or for teachers... whichever :-)

This is a wonderful but fragile item. I bought three of them for three (adult) friends. Mean time to failure was measured in an hour or two as the wires at the connection points are amazingly weak. Lights began going out within an hour of first putting them on while doing normal daily activities -- not even taking them on and off or putting coats on on top of them or anything.
