Does everything you need for practising at home or on the train
Battery life is almost too good - it's such a surprise when it suddenly runs out after 3 months, you never have a charger with you.I've found this has revolutionised my practising because I can do it anywhere (especially on trains), silently. Not many features (e.g. different sounds or electronic tuning of the pitch - volume control is about the only thing it does have) but as a way of practising, it's brilliant.

Excellent Product
An excellent and very easy to use piece of kit! I'm in a band and having an electronic chanter which can be used silently (with earphones) lets me get lots of practice time out of commuting and spare time without causing a racket - it is also compact and easy to carry around. When I was looking at different options I was concerned about having to get the right type of batteries etc but the 'GlenCoe' is rechargeable with a usb so that is good for me. Wish it was available in white.

Not happy and upset
Bought this chanter and speaker for a present for myself. I had it for about 3 weeks, used it with earphone's and was happy with it. However I purged in the speaker to try it out. It stated a burning smell and it just stopped working. It won’t even go with earphones.Very annoyed as I did like it.Requested a refund or a replacement

Lack of sensitivity
It is cheap and cheerful compared to other items, however I am struggling to accept the lack of sensitivity to the pads of the fingers.In order to get it to work I need to rub cream onto my fingers to make them more moist in order to get a clear sound. With out this it simply struggles to pick up on finger movement.If your on a tight budget this will get you by, if your serious then get something else.
