Wonderful book for the leathercraft we. I’ve recently been asked to make more purses and totes and this was a great reference. You’ll need to enlarge the patterns but overall very helpful. 183 pgs. First 44 pages covers basic leather crafting, stitching, glueing, edging.. then it gets into the good stuff.. .it has patterns for every item.All patterns/designs are very basic but with a little creativity you can make some really nice projects with this book. I’ve had my own leather business and selling well for about 2 years and there are tricks and techniques in here that I found very helpful.

Excellent information on bag making, working with leather including info on leather, tools, prep, transferring patterns onto leather and more. It also has easy to follow directions with pictures and information on how to alter patterns. Patterns for each project are included. My one wish is that the patterns were actual size vs having to copy and blow them up. I hope more of the Japanese leathercraft books are translated into English in the near future as I have found them to be excellent.

I bought this book for the patterns to get concepts for miniature bags. Very noce and clear.
