Live and Learn, and then buy the right freq antenna-
Edit* - After repeatedly trying to figure out the lack of functionality, we have measured and concluded that this is not constructed accurately to the 2.4 band. It is able to pickup some signals at the lower end, but the frequencies are more like 800-2000 in its primary capabilities. Meaning, it does send a strong signal, but we have personally built one with copper tape and elbow grease that outperforms this by exponential measures. Dont buy cheap... Make sure the antennas you purchase are properly tuned. Otherwise, this type of blunder will give you the coverage of a 3dBi antenna in the 2.4Mhz frequency range. The similarly priced Alfa 7dBi directional antennas pull in 10x more than this (with or w/o an amp).If you have hardware that captures cell frequencies, this antenna will actually pick those up just as well as the 2.4 wifi. Antennas should not be able to do both. So our review drops significantly due to having to trouble shoot and test our results in depth. It does work in 2.4 range, but not like a yagi should.Hooked up to a signal amplifier (2Watt) with the Alfa NHA and 036 and both performed well. Unfortunately, this antenna did not perform as well as the Alfa 7dB panel antenna. This antenna is built pretty well, has mounting hardware and produces good, long range signals outdoors... But indoors, and through walls, packets can drop more often than directional antennas. Still, it is a great price for the amount of signal you can get from this product. If mounting outside to get signal at another location, this worked pretty well. Especially in the 802.11g band. Worked well with the n band too. The cable is pretty long, so it's possible that is the difference between this and another directional antenna is that signal strength is lost through the cable. I connected the amp and radios directly, without any wire. So the difference in cable compared to the Alfa is that the Alfa had no cable. I do not have the correct trading equipment to find out for sure.

Worked for a ~200 ft range. It needed clear line of sight and another Yagi pointed at it at the router for the signal to be good enough. I used an repeater AP on the one end and it was getting about 10Mbps/3Mbps bandwidth which is good enough. When I pointed through some apple/cherry trees toward the router it would hardly connect and was very slow. I had to reposition the antenna to have clear line of sight for it to work properly.

Perfect for application
When looking for a power gain direction antenna for a commercial Wifi application, the power diagram of this antenna met the site requirements for a strong signal at 400' x 200' with interference such as full dimension structure walls for building built in the 1950's. Needs to have better intallation instructions included for those less knowledgeable of RF antenna instalation.

It does improve signal a bit. The problem I have with it is in the installation is a bit difficult, getting it pointed at the right place and mounting it. There are so many easier and more flexible options out there that do the same thing.

Doesn't work any better then a normal antenna. Not worth it. And it's probably why the seller hasn't sold anymore recently.

These are well constructed antennas and the price was excellent. The customer service from the vendor (Factory Direct Sales FDS) was very good and fast. I will be purchasing from these people again without a doubt.

good quality!
I had compare this antenna with a tp link with less dB they work about the same , good quality! !
