Great notebook that needs a little more
I was looking for quite a while for a good baby-notebook. This seemed like a good one and, like most books online, I couldn't really find too many preview images to give me an idea what it was like. So, since amazon won't let us upload images either, here goes:Pros:-Section for parent information, birth weight/size/eye color/hair color/etc and some other small notes-Cute diagrams breaking babies down like machines-Single-page note areas that literally have a "Week 1", "week 2", etc in the header, a date field, and that's it. It's very free-form with your notes. Write whatever you want. It has a page per week, up to week 52.-It has a page dedicated to new weights/size/eye color/hair color changes at the 3, 6, and 9 month marks. Also has parts related to things like: Sounds or talking, head control, finger and hand control, toy playing, etc.-8 pages split in half for "Service Records", aka doctor visits.Cons:-You get 2 pages for monitoring bladder. That's 6 weeks.-2 pages for Bowels as well = 6 weeks.-2 pages for feedings - roughly 6 weeks-2 pages for sleep - 4 weeks-No area for immunization records-No area for contacts-No area for family historyIt's awesome for notes, but I may get another book so I can log more medical-related information.

The best present for new parents
First the disclaimer - I don't have any kids. However, I have bought this book, as well as its companion, for a few new parents. It might not be the "only baby book you'll ever need" but it's good as a present that's something a little different. New parents get plenty of carriers, onesies, and serious how-to-care-for-your-newborn books. This book is fun to read and still has useful information for the first-time parent. Everyone who I've given this to has loved it and has told me that they continue to refer to it months after they received it.

Love It!
I love this journal. You can write as much or as little as you want. You can draw, paste photos, stamp handprints, whatever you want. It is very flexible and free form.

User's manual, for those who need one!
My husband and I were expecting #1, and hub is a car geek. We were kidding about user manuals and how he could cope with new baby if one existed. He loved this book! It's definitely more father-friendly and funny. The gag does run a bit dry, but at least it's consistent throughout the book. We just purchased another for #2!

Great gift for geeky parents
If you have geeky friends who are expecting a baby - Pair this with the Baby Owner's Manual, and you have a full 5-Star gift.

Love it
I bought this diary for my first son and it was exactly what I needed. Not the normal emotional diary but something funny, with not so much space for writing a poem but enough for the important things. I've never been good at keeping a diary but with this one I could do the whole first year! Unfortunately there is not any for the years to come but doesn't matter. I don't know why they don't print it and sale it anymore but I was lucky to find an old one for the baby that is coming in 2 months
