Advanced SAM-e Complete Supplement 500mg (S-adenosyl-L-methionine) - Complete Joint Support, Anxiety and Stress Relief - Non-GMO, Gluten Free 180 Capsules (90 Day Supply)

I bought this product in Feb 2020, lot # 1012005, exp. Jan 2024, labeled as 250mg potency. I work at NOW Foods and had this product tested by HPLC and the lab found only 103mg potency per capsule. The product is suspicious based on cost, potency and labeling and was tested as part of ten other suspicious brands. The results of this test were shared with Amazon and FDA and this product lot should be recalled due to very low potency.

To get 1500 mg a day, one usually has to take three or four capsules of the other brands. This brand is very efficient in that you only take two capsules. SAM-e is very helpful in providing relief from arthritis pain and stress, when taken in conjunction with other vitamins/supplements.

These are great! They work as well, as all the other, similar SAM-e capsules. But they cost less! What’s not to love?!

The label is misleading 500 mg in capsule but not so it’s 500 mg per serving need to take 2 to make 500 so not such a great bargain will not order again .

Quality control needs work, there were 2-3 capsule shaped pills in the bottle along with the normal capsules. There were also one capsule completely empty.

Works great. Must take it with complex vitamin B.
