MC3 Mini-Z Buying, Tuning & Racing Guide: 2WD Touring Edition Kindle Edition

I got into mini z recently and although this book has some older information, it’s still a wealth of knowledge and great to throw in the bag to have all the info with you at the track. No more scrolling Reddit while at the track, taking away valuable track time.

Read the reviews and was still somewhat apprehensive. However I decided to pick this up and was not disappointed. The sample was good enough to get me hooked, and doesn't even begin to showcase the great tips, setups, recommendations, and just good reading in general.

This is a great Mini Z resource. The detail is excellent and to the point. You can get overwhelmed by information on the internet and misinformed. A must have for your bench.

helpful book. beyond where i am just starting out but informative. i do wish there was an option to print, i am old fashioned and like to hightlight, bookmark, reference back to etc. I don't really do that with ebooks.

I was a little hesitant to buy this due to the price, so I downloaded the sample first. The sample contained enough solid information to lead me to believe the content would justify the price. It does.Mueller gives in-depth detail, regardless of whether he's discussing upgrade options or tuning theory. His explanation of tire dynamics, tire choice, and the importance of truing will benefit rookie and veteran alike. While the book has plenty of typos, and other issues such as the misuse of "than" vs. "then", the information is presented in a very organized manner. Additionally, his explanations are well-ordered from simple to complex.Detractors might point out that most, if not all, of the information in the book can be obtained by carefully scouring forums. While that might be true, I'm not aware of any resource that provides such cogent and deep information on upgrades and tuning. For me, the time savings combined with a good deal of new (to me) information makes this one an easy recommend.

I must say I was completely taken by surprise, Kevin has done an amazing job of getting a huge chunk of his knowledge down on paper and written what should be a “must read” for all RC racers not just Mini-Z.The content in the guide is timeless and not specific to any generation of Mini-Z or specific manufacturer. Recommended for all racers to have in their toolbox!Keep up the great work!

The book itself is easy to read and has some pieces of useful information.However, it is over-priced and the pictures are terrible, you can’t even see any detail, that is necessary, in some of them and yet the parts are being described. So bad that there really may as well not be any pictures.Sort the pictures out, reduce the price by 50% and have it properly proof read and edited and it would be 5stars. The idea is great. Anyway, it’s a useful book with the author’s opinions on tuning and it appears to be an honestly and sincerely written.

This guide is fantastic. It contains info on anything I have expected should be covered in a guide book. It has great tips and suggestions, and is well worth the asking price. If you are really keen on Mini-Zs, just get it!

Perfect guide for all the essentials. Kindle version is very handy to keep on your phone when you need a reference. The book has been very helpful in getting my car tuned right.
