Have seen Red Bellied Woodpeckers, Hairy & Downy Woodpeckers, Blue Jays, Cardinals, Red Winged Blackbirds, Grackles, House Finches, house sparrows, and starlings at it. Seed/Suet when full last 12~36hrs depending - we've a moderate-to-heavy traffic in the backyard.

A: It is pine, it is good quality I have two.

A: It comes like the picture. There is a rope that is attached to the top which you can place on your shepherds hook to hang.

**Q: Can the plastic panels be removed to make this a fly through style?**
A: Yes, they can be removed.  Take the top off and move it to the side and the panels will lift straight up out of the slots that are cut in the wood.

Was worried about the longevity of the wood so we gave it two coats of (food safe) butcher block stain and I'm pretty happy with it now. I would give it a 5 but it came damaged. I didn't feel like having to go a wholefoods about 40 minutes from me to return and wait so I glued the edge of the roof back on. Advice: after placing foam on both edges of the roof, maybe wrap it twice with shrink wrap to hold the foam on so nothing breaks. Other than that mishap the item is as described and is perfect for my bird feeder stand.
