The pages are surprisingly thick. I have used watercolors on one page, making the entire page wet and while there is a little waviness after drying, you can’t tell they were used on the back side. I tried micron pens in mine and if you squint really hard, you may be able to see the writing faintly on the backside but no ghosting like other brands I’ve tried. There is one bookmark (wish there were two) as well as a pocket on the inside of the back cover. Numbered pages go up to 192. For the people that have very specific spreads, the pages are 27 boxes wide and 39 boxes vertically.

Docking another star.Old review:This journal has thicker pages and more pages than most (160 gsm) and 192 numbered pages. I've used probably four different low-priced brands (because paying $30 for a "brand name" that has 00 gsm is simply dumb). The price is excellent. My only complaint is that sometimes I run into a very small area of a page that doesn't want to accept ink. It's weird, but it doesn't happen often.The first one I ordered included index pages. The last one did not.

This journal is very high quality. It has numbered pages, a ribbon bookmark, elastic band to hold it closed, and a pocket in the back cover to hold pages, stickers, etc. The pages are double sided and the dots are of medium shade. They are not so light that you cannot see them, but not so dark that they're distracting from the page. A good balance between the two. Also I like to use black sharpie pens in it, and the ink does not bleed through or make shadows that you can see on the backside of the pages. I will purchase again when I'm ready for another one.

I've been on a quest for the best journal notebook for sometime. I've finally found the best journal for the value.Here are some pointers as to why this makes it to the top of the list:- Paper is 120GSM (thicker than other Journals compared - I've looked at Moleskine and Piccadilly). This also means that it will be a little thicker and heavier to carry-around. This eliminates any on the shelf/shipping damage. Competitors shrink-wrap their journals.- The cover comes in a nice faux-leather look (looks elegant)- Has a nice thick elastic band to keep the journal together.- Has a nice bookmark to know where you are.- It is a dot journal (I wish they had a ruled version of the same)- Pages are numbered - helps in organizing your content/table of contents/index.- Has a pocket/sleeve to store receipts, bills etc.- Front sleeve has a contact detail in case you loose your journal, it can find it's way back.- And best of all - did I tell you that's it cheaper than one of those expensive journals for the same 120GSM.Overall - I can assure you that once you give this journal a try, you'll be impressed.VALUE - [XXXXX] /. I received this journal to review – which is pretty awesome. The color is a very nice brown and it looks like leather. The pages are very thick so you don’t have to worry about bleed through. I like to use markers and gel pens in my journals so this is a must for me. The back pocket is great and very useful. Love the band that keeps the journal from opening in my bag and the place marker is great. The only down side to this journal is there no loop to keep my pen.

The dot grid notebooks are my fave and this one did not disappoint. It's leather binding and thick pages make it feel so elegant (not to mention the fancy box it comes in!) I am a writer and I use this for all my research and planning when I'm putting stories together. Great gift too!

I use this journal nearly everyday for planning, scheduling, and simply writing down my thoughts. It can handle pretty much any marking utensil from fountain pens to markers. It also comes with a bookmark and string to close the book. Texture and color is great as well. Feels nice to hold and is compact enough to take around anywhere. Definitely recommended!

I really like the journal, but the dots are too close together for me. My handwriting is not the smallest, so it makes it hard to just jot things down. The leather bound book is wonderful and the pages hold together well. I just have a hard time fitting my thoughts in between the dots.
