Purchased this to use on our half-country move from Texas to Virginia. The material seems pretty thick and sturdy. We did get a small tear on the lower corner while moving it down to the car. We had put in clothes, a big box of diapers, kids table seats, shoes and a whole bunch of other things we’d need while our PODs is in storage. The straps and buckles themselves are great quality. It was easy to tighten down to our car.This thing made it through 80mph speeds and rain.Didn’t budge the entire ride.

I bought this for a 4 hour road trip. I’m a 42 year old female and had to install this by myself. It would have been easier had it of come with install directions. It did not come with directions, however. Took me an hour to improvise and make it work just by looking at the pictures online that were provided on Amazon....pictures only. It did hold up well though. I didn’t hear any flapping or crazy wind noise while driving. The material was very thick and durable. It holds a lot as well. It was not easy to use or load by myself but I managed. My husband was available for the trip on the way home. He googled a YouTube video to install it the second time. It did hold up without any problem though. Directions would have been nice!

This Cargo Bag, worked perfectly for my mini Van ! The first trip was in almost constant rain. No problems. No leaks. I see no signs of wear on the bag or straps. The bag is a thick, quality material It is very heavy and large, great quality, can fill in lots of stuff. This bag holds a lot! I had 3 small moving boxes, several small suitcases/duffles, backpacks, plus winter costs and pillows all packed in. I installed cross rails for this trip, so I used all 4 straps (8 connections). Definitely recommend!

This was amazingly waterproof, more than watertight, as we traveled through torrential rains and high winds across the country. Unfortunately what I thought were bird droppings really turned out to be the vinyl shredding. This happened after only 12 total days of use (four days then a month of storage than 4 more days with a year of storage and then four more days or from June to June limited use). We never opened nor closed the bag during travel, only to load and unload upon reaching our destination. At this point we have to use bonding tape to get back home. If you like buying a bag every year than this is your product.

bought this product almost a week. The quality is pretty good. The material is very thick and strong. We used once and it saved all space of my trunk. The strips can hold very tie. Well worth.

Very good quality roof bag. Waterproof I don’t need to worry about the rain and snow. It is so big that I can put as much as I want. Easy to use. Good for family hiking and camping. Very worth.

Sturdy. Went through a pretty bad hail storm the first time I used it and everything inside remained dry. I had a difficult time installing on my 4Runner, but I'm also an idiot. I would probably buy it again even though it is a little higher priced than some of the others. It's PVC and canvas and I'm pretty happy with it overall

I packed my stuffs in it, and took a road trip.The bag itself held up beautifully. The bag material is thick and the straps are very strong.I recommend packing the front of the bag with something solid and full that will hold the box shape of the bag up front . It save a lot of space for me.I highly recommend Roofbag if you need extra storage.
