I use epoxy resin (ArtResin) which is non-toxic and certified as food safe by the FDA.∙ Over time, slight marks/indentations may appear on your coasters from plates/glasses. This is normal. The resin artwork on your mats will remain the same, you might just see slight indentations when you hold the coaster under a light. I have been using my own resin placemats at home for around 2 years now and they have performed very well with everyday use.
