Awesome!
Great price, face delivery. Awesome product. Very compact and I was able to dial the exact output. 6.5 in / 1.50 out

Here's the instructions
Overall a nice little converter. User beware: this thing arrives in pieces and you have to assemble it yourself. It's very easy to assemble though. You just need a Phillips head screwdriver to make it happen. Instructions aren't bad to interpret. I took pictures and posted them here for others to see prior to purchase if necessary. It doesn't come with any needs or anything like that so not a big deal but just be prepared to add your own. I like the acrylic cover. It makes the thing pretty. One last thing I wanted to throw in was that it is calibratable. You can ensure that whatever voltage you're putting in is actually that voltage by measuring with a multimeter and then telling the device exactly what that voltage is. Hopefully it will last me a good long time.

Quiet enough for radio use
I had tried to design my own buck converter, taking the voltage from 14V to 5V and found that it was very difficult to do this reliably and with minimal noise on the output. I was looking to power an RF circuit. This Drok DC Buck Converter is amazing! It can handle the job with ease, and the output is very clean allowing my RF circuit to function properly. This converter has a place on the plastic housing for a fan, but so far heat has never been an issue while running at 1 amp or less. There are a few things to watch out for! First, make sure you have the converter set to the correct voltage before connecting power to your project. Secondly, the USB port can operate at voltage that are higher than normal USB spec. If you have the converter set to output 10V, the USB will also be 10V, instead of the normal 5V. This could damage equipment if you aren't aware. Next, the USB port does no remain enabled during a power off/on sequence. The converter WILL remember the voltage setting, but the port disables until you manually re-enable it. Idle current consumption is around 15-20ma at 14VDC, even with the display backlight turned off. Connections are all made using USB or screw terminals. Overall a top performer and good value for the price!

Best features
Works well and is easy to use. Love the features especially the display of volage and current. The 20 turn pots also make it easy to set the desired current limit, some products use a 270 degree pot to cover 0-10 amps that makes it near impossible to set an accurate limit. I didn't give it 5 stars because I wish it not only limited the current but turned the output off after the limit is reached.

An excellent regulator, awesome display
The amps and voltage display is awesome! I have used the cheaper ones in the past but never realized how helpful and convenient it is to not have to probe the voltage and especially the amps. In addition, the 5 amp rating means everything is built stronger which is a plus. I highly recommend you spend the extra 5 bucks and get this well made converter. Just remember to turn the voltage pot counterclockwise about 10 turns until you get voltage regulation.

Easy to use, looks great, nearly perfect, so far
I bought one of these to step down 24V to 12V for cooling fans on my 3D printer. So far, this little buck converter has been virtually flawless. It's easy to connect wiring, adjusting the voltage was a snap, and it looks pretty great, to boot! Pros: • Easy connections with screw-down clamp terminals • Easy to adjust outgoing voltage • Display can be adjusted to show incoming voltage, outgoing voltage, or both. And even amperage. • Looks fantastic. I love the clear, open "housing". • Includes small stick-on heatsink to keep things running coolly. • Everything fit together perfectly • Has a USB power output, in case you need to run USB devices from other power sources. (Likely need to reduce output to 5V.) This output can also be disabled. • Even has a spot to mount a small cooling fan to the clear acrylic over the heatsink. Cons: • No assembly instructions, though it's not overly complicated. (Hint: Look at the product photo for help.) • Voltage is off slightly, so I wouldn't call it overly-precise. Display says 12.0V out, and I measured 11.67V out. Good enough for my purposes. • Open housing can let in dust and debris, if that's a concern. • Included double-sided adhesive really doesn't stick all that well. Overall, the cons are pretty minimal for me. I'm really happy with this thing. We'll see how it does with longevity, but for right now it's been working great.

Great little product better that expected
Love this contraption, use them to make bubble boxes run extremely fast as it is a mini transformer!

DROK buck converter could damage your equipment
This small unit is simple enough in design, but is is critically flawed in the following ways: 1) Voltage and current adjustment (by powering on input while holding down SET button) will not always allow calibration. You may need to power on and off several times before SET and ENT buttons will increase / decrease voltage or current accordingly. 2) There is absolutely no way to adjust output voltage. You read that right. There *are* voltage and current potentiometers on the board, but they do absolutely nothing for output.10-20 laps counterclockwise, and output doesn't budge. Only input is adjustable using the power-on method mentioned above. USB default output is over 8V, and this will damage the majority of 5V small devices out there. Again, this cannot be adjusted with the potentiometers nor on-board calibration. I had no issues pulling down the input voltage to match my Li-ion battery source. The output, however, remains steady at just over 8V and cannot be altered. This is a critical design flaw and essentially invalidates the entire purpose for a buck converter in the first place. What amazes me is that they get any positive reviews at all. How no one has run into problems with this unit is beyond me.

Real Protection
Wonderful Product for me! Accidentally wired input polarity backwards during setup (human error), and this module survived exactly as advertised. Reverse polarity protection prevented any damage, no smoke, no heat. After correcting wiring, the buck worked perfectly. Also tested with low voltage (5V) and brief 9V input — no issues. Protection systems are real, not marketing. Would buy again.

Very Handy
Works with the Pi4 for me using the right 12v input, its just a shame the USB cant be automatily on after a power cycle,
