This is a really great filament. I use it exclusively in my Lulzbot Taz5. It has great temperature performance, and it consistently produces reliable prints.Only once (out of many repeat purchases) did I receive a sub-standard roll of filament. I could tell it wasn't the normal quality because the finish on the filament was a dull, matte finish rather than the usual glossy finish. Being the optimist, I tried it anyway, and it gummed up my nozzle pretty quickly. Lesson learned, shouldn't have tried it when I knew it was probably not going to work. That being said, around that time (just a day or two after I received the shipment) the company contacted me and asked for feedback. I gave them my candid remarks, and in pretty much no time at all they sent a replacement roll of filament.Their customer service is really top notch... a lot of other companies could take a cue from them. :)Without reservation I highly recommend this product -- great performance, great support

Jams, gets stuck in the printer, unreliable
Jams and stops printing after about half an hour. And the it is stuck in the printer, even at max temperature it doesnt come out!!!Terrible stuff. Stay away from it.

More transparent than white, prints prefectly
More transparent than white, kind of like frosted glass. I was able to use this to make a block that defused an array of LEDs for an electronics project I was working on. Was also very cool to see the internal support structure on larger prints. Extruded at 210 on a 60° bed using my Taz 5. This is my 3rd roll of IC3D PLA and have had zero issues so far.

Filament is very brittle
Update to review below about the filament being very brittle. the company recently contacted me and said that I receive a bad batch and have sent a replacement. This moved them from a 2 to a 4. Every company has will have problems but its nice to find a company proactively will resolve an issue. Way to go IC3DThe filament is very brittle, I have only used about 1/4 of the roll and it has broken at least 1/2 dozen times. How brittle will the items I make be? Will not purchase again.

Disappointed
In the past I’ve had good luck with this brand but I just bought 4 spools and the first one just use kept clogging the nosle. I lost 25 hours of print time and had 4 failed prints because of the clogging.

Winding is poor
Filament quality itself seems decent, well packed, and reasonably bendy. However I encountered several winding problems: the filament was stuck under other filament quite a few times during 3-4 long prints, causing the gripper to fail. Examining the spool reveals that the winding is uneven and some of the filament is stuck under other filament. Bad roll?

A deep black finish on prints.
A deep black finish on prints. There's some slight warping compared to IC3D's natural PLA so going to try lowering my extruder temperature a little as I suspect that will help. It's very minor and overall i'm happy with the 3 rolls of IC3D PLA I've used to date.

the plastic is pretty transparent when it's being extruded making it somewhat difficult ...
No problems so far. Just a note, the plastic is pretty transparent when it's being extruded making it somewhat difficult to see the first couple of layers. I would recommend a filament that is opaque if you're just starting out.
