I purchased this band to replace the original Fitbit band that came with my Alta hr. My Fitbit band broke after nearly a year of use which was disappointing so I decided to look for a more durable band. I came across this metal band and it seemed to be just what I was looking for. This band is very pretty and comfortable to wear. Installation was fast and simple. The price point is great. My only complaint, which is a deal breaker for me, is that the magnet slips loosening the band with every movement. I have to retighten the band frequently throughout the day. When exercising it won’t stay tight enough to track my heart rate without me constantly pulling it tight. I’ve worn it for a little over a week so far and it has come very close to falling off my wrist twice. I am afraid of losing my Fitbit with this band. I quickly grew tired of having to constantly check the band to see if it is loose, which it always is. I became so annoyed with it I ordered a regular Fitbit band to replace this one. The regular Fitbit band’s quality isn’t there but at least I don’t have to check if it’s loose and constantly tighten it. If this metal band had a different clasp that didn't loosen with every movement I would be more confident about wearing it all day, everyday. As it is right now I would not recommend it to be used while exercising or even for regular day to day use. This band is very pretty so I will still keep it to wear on special occasions.

Update 4/8/18After four months I lost my first Konikit. (Don’t ask.) And I loved it so much that I bought another one of the same model: Fitbit Alta Silver. I’m just so happy with it.————————My original band died. I was able to fix it with super glue, but I figured it was time for a change. I've had this a month now. So far, so good.Pros:- No more snagging my wife's hair when I put my arm around her.- It's a slimmer band, so my dress sleeves fit nicely over it.- It looks beautiful, like I bought a new fitbit or something. And I've already noticed two other people with the same band. Must be popular.- It looks neither masculine nor feminine. It just plain looks good.Cons:- It occasionally gets loose, but no big deal. At it never falls off. My original band popped off completely all the time, like when I would wrestle my 7 year-old son. I think some people freak out because it's just a magnet clasp. That's not entirely true. The magnet is surrounded by a rubber ring that adds friction so that the clasp doesn't slip.- To remove and put on, I find my hand is so big I need to undo the clasp completely, threading the magnet through the hole. Also not a problem. Especially since the original required some serious pinch strength to clasp.Some people mentioned it snagging on their clothes. I didn't have that problem until one day, when one of the tiny loops near the bracket stuck out, sort of like on a spiral notebook. I just pushed it back into place with my thumbnail and no more snag. Piece of cake.I highly recommend this band. When I someday upgrade to a heart rate monitoring fitbit, I will buy this band straight off.

This band is exactly what I was looking for in a replacement band for my Alta HR. It is easy to attach to the Fitbit and fits great. There is an infinite adjustment to get the band exactly as loose or tight as you want. It looks much better than the rubber band that comes with the Fitbit. The only issue I have is that it is a bit tight to get it over my hand to take it on or off. I can do it all right but it is a bit of work. I don't know why some seem to have a problem with the magnet slipping. Mine does not, it is a strong magnet. There is a protective cover on the magnet that needs to be removed and that may be the problem but otherwise I don't know what people are doing that could cause it to loosen. I would buy it again.

 This band is a tremendous improvement over the band provided by fitbit alta. Getting the factory band closed is a pain. The upper strap has two prongs which fit into holes on the lower strap. It is difficult to use one hand to attach. And it comes off multiple times each day. This is a lot harder than it ought to be. But this sleek band from Konikit is so much better. Just drop the magnetic clasp wherever you want. And, it's done!In addition to being more functional, It makes my fitbit alta look and feel more like a quality time piece than a fitness band! I got what they call 'silver', which is more like stainless steel. It almost matches the color of the fitbit case.

Wearing right now as I type. I am very hard on my Fibit, or any watch. I like the band to look nice, Be very confortable, and to fit my lifestyle. This band is durable, attractive, very comfortable, and easy to adjust. It’s heavier than I was used to before, but I am getting used to that. Not having to fasten a band is so nice. This magnetic sliding fastener is much nicer. I wore out the leather one I had. The plastic ones don’t always look as nice. This one will be great for anything. Very pleased.

I didn’t have particularly high expectations for the product since I know I was buying a third party band, these third parties are very hit or miss. But this band is STUNNING. It’s a lot like the bands I’ve admired in the Apple store (though I don’t own an Apple Watch)! I plan on buying a few more colors now that this one has proven to be so sleek and durable. It’s a super nice way to make your Fitbit more “incognito” for everyday things and work. Plus the magnetic clip makes it incredibly easy to put on, definitely would recommend for some one struggles with the latches on some of the others. A lot of the rubber ones they make look cheap and too “Oo ask me about how many steps I took today.” I’m a much more casual user and just want it to look like any other watch on most days.
