Almost perfect
I really prefer these over the graphite types except that they're a bit too wide and rub the interior of the shoes producing an audible sound that drives me crazy with every step. Other than that, they are very think and light, flex perfectly, and the arch is just right for my feet. I will probably have to file the edges back a bit myself.Edited: I lowered one star because I returned the product. The insoles are just too wide. They are wider than the insoles that come with most shoes, and that is a problem. These insoles never rest comfortably on the floor of the shoe and may cause undesirable wear as a result.

Toe saver!
Wonderful for my sore big toe (Hallux Rigidis). I'm sure these inserts have saved me from needing injections and surgery right now. Sizing may be tricky. I ordered 2 sizes and ended up keeping the bigger ones. Amazon had a free returns policy when I ordered these so it was easy to return the unwanted pair.I only wear these in my running shoes. I'm female and they just don't fit in my other shoes. I've tried to get in the habit of choosing stiff soled shoes to help my problem.I wasn't sure how hard insoles would feel but they are SO COMFORTABLE. My only complaint... they squeak. sometimes its really loud. I've tried baby powder - like I said I tried the smaller size (which I think did squeak less)

Great product!
I am very happy with these insoles. After researching what could be wrong with my right foot - I came upon the conclusion that it is Hallux Rigidus. Not wanting to spend a small fortune to go to the Doctor - I ordered these instead!My pain is almost completely gone when I wear these in my tennis shoes. I am on my feet on a tile floor all day, and these have been a God send!

Fixing one problem, creating another.
I've got arthritis in my big toe and my doctor recommended these. It does it's job at keeping my big toe pretty immobilized and they fit wonderfully in my shoes. However, the edge of the shoe rubs uncomfortably against my other toes and the underside of my foot which has caused some nasty blisters. I thought originally maybe I had the put them in the opposite shoes, but that wasn't it. It would be nice if the edge around the toes wasn't so sharp.

Beats surgery any day!
This product is being used as a stopgap to prolong having surgery due to pain. It seems to work. There are no silver bullets but this appears to be a viable temporary alternative to surgery!

useful to combat toe pain
These are a little tough to get into all types of shoes, beause of the rigidity. When they fit, they do relieve pain. Time will tell if it helps enough to invest in more. Great price at Amazon!

Arch too high and rigid
I may give more stars if the bigger size works for me.ADDED when larger size came:Nope. The arch is too high and rigid. It's painful to wear. Too bad, because the toe extension works. I'll return these and keep looking.
