Audel Machine Shop Basics (Audel Technical Trades Series)

Good foundational book, principles still apply. All pictures are from 50s & 60s. All black white photos or sketches.There is charts in each chapter pertaining to the subject. Chapter on motors. If newer material how about DRO's (digital read outs) even hobbiest are buying them for home shops.

Simple yet informative discussion of using various tolls and machinery in metal forming.

It very thoroughly explains machine shop. It gives me an idea of what I'd be studying if I were to take a course in it, or perhaps even go as far as to get certified in it. I really like this book!

A few tips but not many tricks. Helps with unfamiliar setups and plenty of speed-feed tables.

Very informative, seems to be straight forward. Good for reference too.
