Per NCState Agricultural Sciences Department and my local USDA Extension; don't apply when the temperature when you are applying it is above 90. Dismiss is the the better choice, however. Usually with tenacity, you have to apply it at least two to three times, at two week intervals. They are both broad spectrum. Tenaciity's claim to fame is its ability to kill grassy weeds, like Nimblewill. They are both labeled for Goose grass. I don't think Dismiss is labeled for Nimblewill. PS: spectricide makes a good 4 way for the home owner. It has 24d, dicamba, quinchlorac, and sulfantrazone (dismiss). spelling. they sell it on amazon and lowes. **Q: How much lawn will this 8oz bottle cover? We have .3 of an acre.** A: The 8 oz bottle will produce 96 gallons of solution using 1/2 teaspoon per gallon of water.
