**Q: Can anyone who has owned this knife for more than 18months give an updated review - thanks**
A: Still going strong really cannot fault these knives ..  just buy the furi diamond finger knife sharpener to go with it and it will keep going for years . . My oldest furi knives is now 6 years old and I still love it!

**Q: Does this have a flexible blade for filleting fish like Cod or Pollock? Only answer if you know, please.**
A: Semi flexible But works very well filleting trout

**Q: Is the blade edge the true Japanese single bevel type, or is it the western dual bevel blade? For my use I need a single bevel sharpened blade.**
A: as per product description "Far Eastern sharpness combined with Western durability"- this knife is bevelled/ sharpened on both sides. Furi knives are made of Japanese stainless steel though.
