I don't trust Chinese batteries and immediately put in some Nitecore 18650's. That doesn't impact the review though. The adjustable straps, however do, and it's my only complaint. I wear a 7.5 men's fitted hat and this headlamp really has to stretch in order to fit.The lights are bright. 2 18650 batteries make sure of that. There are almost too many different light settings. One thing I do like is that the lamp remembers my last setting so I don't have to cycle through them again. There is no SOS but it does flash in both red and white. If you head is smaller than a 7.5, this is a very good deal. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Fantasic Value *by M***S on Reviewed in the United States on May 23, 2019* I have used many budget headlamps and this is my favorite. The others have individual "tubes' that contain a single LED light with a lends over them. The retaining ring that holds the lens and tube construction together it always loosens and falls away making the unit fall apart. This one does not have that issue all the LEDS are under one flat compact lens housing. The light disperses much more effectively and battery last longer. For almost ten dollars cheaper then the others I love this headlamp. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent product. *by H***G on Reviewed in the United States on January 26, 2019* I use this for walking pets in a dark area at night. The scope of vision is excellent. The adjustment for beam verticality is good. Charging it up is easy. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/95627057-akale-best-version-rechargeable-headlamp-powerful-lumens-zoomable-work-headlights](https://www.desertcart.be/products/95627057-akale-best-version-rechargeable-headlamp-powerful-lumens-zoomable-work-headlights) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-11-07*
