The best swaddle out of all the ones we tried!
This is the best swaddle! We tried FOUR other types and none of them kept my baby swaddled all night long, only this one. The kind made from stretchy fabric that zip up (Woombie) didn't hold his arms in well enough. He would wriggle his hand out the neck hole where it would get stuck and make him uncomfortable and upset. The kind that velcro shut in front (Swaddleme and Halo) didn't keep him from using his elbows to break the velcro open, or using his toes to get a grip on the fabric and pull downwards with his feet, which would help to open those up. He was so strong that the velcro type actually began to come apart at the seams where the velcro was sewed on. The blankets were even worse. With enough squirming, they always came loose. I even tried using safety pins with the velcro types in an attempt to keep them closed, but he would grip the safety pins from beneath the swaddle and they would come open, so I stopped trying that because I didn't want him to get stuck by a pin in the middle of the night. Then I finally discovered the swaddlebuddy brand, and it was the best swaddle of them all! The layer that holds the arms down prevented my baby from being able to puff out his chest and push his elbows out. He couldn't loosen the Swaddlebuddy, no matter how much he squirmed. The separate layers prevented him from being able to use his feet to pull the front down. It solved all the problems we were having and my baby would actually stay asleep all night long, which meant I got to sleep all night long, too. Please don't let someone else's lack of common sense deter you from trying this swaddle. Yes, you shouldn't swaddle your baby's arms up so tightly that they're behind his back. Just use common sense. Undo the velcro and redo it looser, then his arms will be by his side. It's so simple and obvious. This swaddle doesn't deserve the bad review of the person who couldn't figure out the blatantly obvious because it's such a clever solution and a really great product. It gave me sleep when I was the most exhausted, and I feel so much gratitude towards this company and this product for that. Finally me and my son could get a full night of sleep. It was wonderful.I'm buying a friend of mine a full set of these so that she doesn't have to try four other kinds of swaddle before finding the best one. I recommend it to everyone I know.I actually bought the large green one for my son, not the small pink one. I made a mistake and I can't figure out how to fix it, but I'm about to buy a small pink one for my friend.

best thing ever!
this is really the only swaddle my daughter has not been able to Houdini her way out of. we used the miracle blanket for a while but then found her wearing it like a sash one day. she's 6 months old and needs to be swaddled in order to sleep, so this has helped greatly with our sleep problems.
