One died in an hour. Others get hotter than other Smart LED bulbs
First let me say that I have been in the IT industry for 30 years so this review is not from a non technical reviewer.First the good: Bulbs came quickly and the packaging looked professional. They will work with Alexa once you have their app setup and Alexa locates the bulbsThe Neutral: They pack a card into each box dangling a discount if you give them a good review and send them your order number and review link. To each their own but I find this distasteful as it suggests people should leave an early review in hopes users will review prior to working with the lights for a longer period of time. These do NOT work with standard ZWave or Zigbee hubs. That was not a deal breaker for me. You have to install their app which is fine if you have a few devices. When you have over 50, multiple apps becomes cumbersomeThe Bad: Big pain in the whatever to get these bulbs to pair. You'd think turning power on would start the pairing sequence like other smart bulbs. These had to be turned on and off quickly at least 3-8 times before they will begin flashing to pair. The flashing to pair in itself is annoying as it can often take a minute to get the app open and start pairing from your phone. I suggest having the app open and your account setup BEFORE you attempt to pair these. Once I finally got all bulbs installed, they worked good for the first hour. Then one bulb went dead. It was seriously HOT. I noticed the other bulbs were also much hotter than my Hue bulbs. I tried a regular LED in the same socket and it worked fine. I waited a couple hours and tried different sockets but the bulb was dead. From the looks of the contents, this manufacturer does not want to you to return to AMAZON but use their tech support to assist. Why would I do that when a defective bulb can just be sent back for a full refund. They only sell these in 4 packs so all 4 went back.I'm avoiding this brand for good. You get what you pay for folks. If it sounds too good to be true....I'd move on and pony up for the Hue color bulbs.

Good entry into smart lights although more dim than 100w
Very easy to set up, instructions were in the box and clear. Be sure to download the app first though, because the lights blink until they are set up. The lights are listed as being equivalent to 100w, but they are much closer to 60w in my opinion based on their light output. We used to use 60w bulbs, then went to 100w, then bought these and they are certainly less bright than the 100w they are replacing. Setting them up with my google home minis was a snap, and they do what they say.

Unreliable, problematic, zero support skip these.
Update: still ZERO support from vendor. These are cheap Chinese bulbs that no one should ever buy. Even working with the Smart Life app vendor I can’t get these bulbs to reliably connect to 2.4Ghz WiFi networks. I have a ton of other smart devices that are 2.4 only and they all work fine. Skip these.Do not buy these lights!!! They are an absolute disaster to get set up and after you get them set up they don’t remember the connection and drop constantly. I have eight of these and wish I had zero. Yes, I am using a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi channel. I have both Android and iPhone phones available to test with, it’s much more reliable from android to an iPhone, especially on iOS 13 where it does not work at all, but now it’s not even setting up on Android 8. I have several other smart devices in my house, they are from two other brands, and they all work all of the time.I really want to love these lightbulbs because when they function they actually function quite well and provide beautiful colors when asked, but until they are updated to be more reliable they’re not worth your money. By the way I have also checked to make sure that they are on the latest firmware and they are, which appears to be very old which leads me to believe that these devices have been abandoned by the manufacture, though I don’t know that for sure.Support from the vendor is also nonexistent. I’ve emailed them multiple times. Heard back once then never again.

Don’t waste your time or money they only work right for a few months
These worked great whenever I first got them. Now a few months down the road they turn blue like I usually have them to watch movies, game, etc. However whenever I need them to turn white and use the voice command through Google which was the whole point of me buying these in the first place because I’m disabled and use a wheelchair so using the mobile app is NIT always positive nor convenient. So I called today about this issue and the supervisor informed me they can’t replace these because they “ where feee “. NO they weren’t they are the 3 rd replacements for the original light bulbs I bought which didn’t work properly!! These very delicate light bulbs are sent in the regular box light whenever you buy them in the store through UPS, or USPS, NOT IN A BOX WITH BUBBLE WRAP LIKE YOU WOULD EXPECT ANYTHING MADE OF GLASS TO BE SENT IN SO THAT IT IS NOT DAMAGED.UNRELATED TO THIS PARTICULAR ITEM I HAD A AQUARIUM AIR PUMP THAT WAS SENT TO ME IN JUST THE REGULAR BOX THROUGH USPS, AND YES YOU GUESSED IT IT DOSENT WORK RIGHT EITHER, SO I WAS SENT A REPLACEMENT AND IT ARRIVED THE SAME WAY, AS DID THE NEXT 2 REPLACEMENTS. Guess I’ll just have to get a ride and get in my wheelchair to go get those things from a local store from now on and stop paying my Prime membership and stop doing business with Amazon all together. It’s been a long run but Amazon I think I’ll be taking my business elsewhere after the disastrous things that have happened.( UPDATE 10/23/2020: since Amazon refused to help me and said basically I would have to buy new light bulbs I did. I just bought them from EBay instead I’m sure eBay really appreciated the business and would thank Amazon. Guess I’ll be buying my stuff from eBay from now on. To many problems with faulty products from Amazon, everything from food , light bulbs and aquarium equipment. I’m disabled and use a wheelchair so shopping here was easier, now it’s just another headache. Guess whose going to be canceling their Amazon membership?
