I’ve purchased many screen protectors for many different smartphones, and TangDirect’s glass screen protectors are definitely the highest quality and most reasonably priced. While I haven’t yet applied these (since I don’t have the iPhone X yet) I’ve purchased the same product for the iPhone 7 and was very impressed.These are glass screen protectors that are oleophobic, so they feel and look exactly the same as an iPhone screen does, without attracting any more fingerprints. There’s no weird texture or glare or orange peel effect on these like with plastic screen protectors, and most people won’t know you have one on unless you tell them.If you drop or scratch your screen, it’s the screen protector that takes all the damage instead of the phone. I’ve shattered several screen protectors from falls that otherwise would have shattered my screen, costing hundreds of dollars to repair. Instead, I just peeled off the old screen protector and applied a new one in minutes.Where TangDirect really excels is with the cost and the application. These include an application tray that lines up the screen protector perfectly with the phone so that you couldn’t miss if you tried. There are stickers and wipes and a cloth to prevent any dust or smudges from getting between the protector and the screen. To apply the screen protector, you just remove the back sheet and stick the protector onto the screen, no weird adhesive sprays necessary. If you do still somehow manage to mess it up, there are two more screen protectors included that you can try again with. That brings the cost per screen protector down to less than $3, and the ones I would buy before these cost ~$45 each. I can’t recommend these enough.

This is a great alternative to all of those super expensive glass protectors. I feel that it is important to NOT be deceived by the price, which in my opinion does not translate to any less quality than a $40 screen protector.I bought this one because my old glass screen protector on my iPhone X got a scratch which eventually led to a crack in it, so I had to replace. I HATE HATE putting these things on, but with the provided alignment piece, it actually made the process pretty smooth. The bundle contains some wet wipes, some dry wipes, and some stickers to help get rid of any dust particles. Then I snapped on the little plastic alignment frame onto the front of my phone, peeled the clear sheet off the screen protector and dropped it in, and it worked like magic. NOTE: the first time I did it, I started from the bottom of the screen and it didnt's align perfectly with the screen (it was too low). Second time, I did it from the top and it worked perfectly. Lesson to be learned, turn your screen ON while you're putting on the screen protector so you know where the screen is.The end product is really good! The screen protector is a bit curved on the sides, so it makes swiping back a lot easier. As with any screen protector, you will see its edges noticeably, and especially around the iPhone X notch. But hey, if it saves you from having scratches and a ~$200 screen replacement cost from Apple, I don't see why not. Also, the functionality of the iPhone, including 3D touch remained perfect.

What separates this one is first it comes in a 3-pack, many do come with more than one, but the biggest is the alignment frame that just about guarantees you'll have centered the glass protector on the phone. A perfect fit everytime, Koko the gorilla could do this! Everytime I've tried to install this I'm either a millimeter off to the left, right, up, or down. Not with this frame. Dead center the first time! No more "damn have to lift it and recenter it and now I've got dust underneath!" Also on the first time no bubbles underneath. Comes with an alcohol prep pad, wipe cloth, and dust removal stickers. Also comes with 'guide stickers' but with the frame I don't know why you need them unless you like to do it the hard way. For the price it costs to fix the screen should you have butterfingers, this is a must. And a case of course.Update:. So when the screen is white on the border of the protector at certain angles it has a RGB effect. It's very subtle and only at the fringe border. Some people may find it distracting, others will say it's a feature. If you like RGB strips in your PC then it's a feature.
