Insects pollinate flowers and re-establish the ecological balance in gardens, balconies and patios by eliminating the insects that are harmful to our garden, therefore making them extremely valuable to the environment.. Over the years, the number of hibernation locations has reduced, due to encroachments into the natural habitants of valuable insects like the green lacewing and bees.. This insect hotel gives these insects a place to shelter during the winter and summer months. There are numerous different rooms for the insects to nest according to their needs. This hotel is made purely from natural materials.. Attracts primarily:. . Mason bees. Ladybirds. Butterflies. Green lacewings. Digger wasps. Wild bees.

Great Home for Solitary Bees
Product arrived quickly and was easy to hang. Having done some research I hung this on a wall facing south-east, about a metre up from the ground, with bee friendly flowers in front but not tall enough to cover the house. It has been up for 5 days and today I have 2 bees using it, a third flew in the central slot but not sure if it has done anything. Very happy with product, and reassured that bees are using it already. I don't know whether it's weather proof or not yet but having researched before buying I know you have to keep the bees/larvae dry over winter so will keep an eye on them as worried the front of house could get wet in heavy rain. I've attached photos of today's bee activity.

Bees love it
I bought this bug house in the summer this year. It is a good size, and looks lovely fixed on the trellis. I wasn't too keen on the really bright green roof, so I sanded it and stained it the same colour as the shed, and it looks even better. The watched the bees go in and out the bamboo already. They had filled my other one which is old now, and started on the new one. I didn't think they would as it is new. It arrived very quickly and was a super price. Cheaper than other on-line sites. Would def recommend it. The bees love it.

Easy to Hang, Good Quality Insect House
The product was a great price and arrived very quickly. It is easy to fix to wood to hang it up and has a range of areas within for insects to explore. Good product and great value for money. Definitely recommend this product if you are looking to start a new project in your garden.

I like it, but...
I purchased this product as a gift for a sever-year-old that likes bugs! Therefore, I can’t comment on any of the really important stuff. However, I can say that it was delivered promptly, packaged nicely and looks great!

Couldn't bee happier
I really love my bee and bug hotel, it looks great in the garden. I was really sceptical as to whether this would actually work, but I currently have three resident bees and one spider! Couldn't be(e) happier.

Does the job.
Sturdy enough albeit I decided to paint wood preservative on the external wood for a bit more longevity. Arrived well ahead of schedule - pleased with my purchase.

Good Build
Purchased as a present and so far very happy with it. been up in the garden for a few weeks now and already bugs have found it and started to move in. not sure how you go about cleaning it out. but will look into that when it's full. Make sure you face the bug house in the right direction as per the instructions and this will ensure the bugs want to use your new hotel.
