Dry to prevent rust spots
I read a few reviews that mentioned rust spots after washing. There is a simple solution to that, DRY it immediately. I have some very expensive stainless knives that have rust spots from sitting in my dishwasher wet. I hand wash this and dry it immediately and have no issues. If I have one regret, it’s not getting the bigger one.

Rustin at the collar of the Pitcher
I returned because I washed before using the pitcher, let it dry, and found out that there was rust inside at the level of the collar.
