Excellent quality light for reading. Most LEDs are too blueish. This one has a nice warm tone which provides excellent contrast for reading. I do agree that I wish there were a lower setting. The "3 power modes" in the description are OFF/LOW/HIGH. Low is actually a bit too bright for my tastes, and I think there's room for improvement there in that they could add an even lower power setting, which should also improve battery life, not that I'm complaining about battery life - I'm still on my first charge, and have been using it to read at night since Christmas. On high this thing could be used as a room lamp. Overall, it's a great little unit. I recommend it.

I purchased two of these lights, one for me and one for my husband. We took the lights on a recent trip and, because we both like to read on the plane (and sometimes the overhead lights aren't sufficient), we put our lights in our carryon bags. When we arrived at our destination, we discovered that BOTH of our lights had been "on" at some point in transit, and were both inoperable until we could charge them again. We both had our lights in protective small bags (the kinds you'd use to carry a few items of jewelry), but the "on" switch on the LuninoLite book lights is VERY sensitive to touch. Before we can use them again on a trip we will need to find some kind of protective cover to prevent the on switch from being activated. If the sellers were to devise such a cover, then this would be a GREAT product!

I love this light, super bendy so it can work at all angles and it's setting for the brightness is perfect for all times! I study literally 24/7 and this is the perfect thing to have with my books!

I only received the booklight yesterday, but I quickly charged it and used it last night. I very much like that the brightness of the light can be easily adjusted, and that the stem is both flexible and sturdy. It can be bent to almost any position, and it stays there. The light itself is very lightweight, so it didn't distort the pages of the paperback I am reading. I clipped it to about ½ inch of the pages I had already read, and didn't have to fuss with it again.

Was looking for a night reading book lamp and decided to buy this based on reviews. It's a really great product. It's a good size, not bulky or heavy at all. The neck is thin and really flexible. Comes in a box with instructions. This light has 3 brightness settings, all yellow tone. It helps to read nice and clear. Comes with a charger, but I didn't need to charge it for my first time use. The base is a clip so you can clip onto other pages as anchor. Great product, good buy.

I have to say, This little light is fantastic. The reason I bought this was for sketching while relaxing on the couch or in the recliner in the evening. Usually I'll sit at my easel or sit at my drafting table to do actual work, but sometimes in the evening or early in the morning I enjoy sketching while watching TV. It was always hard getting proper lighting with lamps or ambient light from the windows, so I thought I'd give this little thing a shot.I am pleasantly surprised! I just simply clip it on my SketchBook to one side, and it provides the perfect lighting so I'm not straining my eyes. Plus I can ease back and just relax while I'm doodling! LolI'm actually thinking of getting another one to use by the bedside for reading or otherwise.Really neat little light. Pleasantly surprised, and certainly satisfied for what I was needing it for.**UPDATE**As of March 2018 I purchased another one of these great little lights. One I keep in my portable sketching kit, the other around the house. One thing I forgot to mention in my previous review... Although this is an LED light, it casts a warmer glow than what a standard LED light does. Really easy on the eyes. So I'm completely satisfied!

I am SO happy with this little light! It was just what I needed. I love to read at night but lights tend to distract my husband, so I tried so many booklights and they all either broke quickly, were way to heavy to clip to a book or had short battery life. This one is perfect: two light settings that directly illuminate both my pages (even on the low setting), it's not too bright so it doesn't bug my hubby, it's rechargeable, and it's not too heavy for a paper back book. It feels good to hold, the light goes on easily. It really is just what I needed. Very happy with this purchase!

I have an older generation of LuminoLite book light, and bought this for my mom who can't find a replacement light bulb for her old Bernina sewing machine: she loves it, and I think I will get another one for myself. The older models had two light strengths, both pretty bright. This one also has a softer, warmer light setting which is great when you don't want to wake your partner. The super bright setting really works as a reading light replacement and I use them when I transition to sleep and my night-stand lamp is too much. I don't travel without one of these -- super helpful on flights where, due to cramming of seats, seats are no longer aligned with the corresponding lights overhead (ha ha, last time I flew, the light controlled by my buttons actually threw light directly on the person sitting behind my neighbor!). LuminoLite also lasts forever: using it about an hour every day, I can easily go for a week without charging. And this latest model also has a new type of plastic that feels sturdier and metallic. Lastly, they moved the indicator light to the lamp itself, got rid of the clunky charger, so you just get a USB cable and you can plug it in anywhere (the indicator light is on only while charging, no extra lights flashing while you're using it). Great job LuminoLite team!
