Size Name:Medium  |  Colour Name:White An update on a best seller: The Schuberth C3 was the first race developed flip front helmet, designed with a smaller more compact shell, keen aerodynamic design and flow wind noise. Ideally suited to touring and long distance commuting. Stay cool as you ride: The adjustable head and front ventilation with multi-channel air-vent system keep you cool while riding, and the optical grade A, scratch-resistant visor prepared for Pinlock with an integrated 1.5 mm, anti-fog sun visor help you deal with changing light conditions. The helmet comes prepared for the SRCS Bluetooth system. Plenty of awards: This motorcycle helmet is one of the lightest flip front and the smallest flip up helmet in the world. It is also the second quietest after the C3 Pro. It comes with two years warranty and if you register it online, you'll get a whopping 5 year warranty! Just a note: The helmet may be pictured with a dark visor, you can buy this separately, but your helmet will be delivered with a clear visor!

A Very Good Helmet
One of the very few helmets that fit me. I have a large bonce and this is the most comfortable of the few that fit me. Having said that, it is a very good helmet with only one or two niggles such as the sunshield can fall down when you hit a (very) large bump at speed or go off road a lot. Not the easiest helmet to clean thoroughly inside.

not Amazon who I have always found to be a good company to deal with
I bought the gloss black version of this helmet, not from Amazon as it happens, but as an Amazon customer for a lot of things, I thought I'd put my review up here. It's about the product, not Amazon who I have always found to be a good company to deal with.Frankly, I'm disappointed with the helmet, it cost a lot of money and has not lived up to its promise. Firstly, I bought it as it was said to be the second quietest open face helmet on the market (the upmarket version of the same helmet scores better). In practice it feels not very different from the Caaberg Justissimo I was replacing. As another reviewer said, it doesn't always close very easily as it has a tendency to only lock on one of the locating pins unless I am very careful where I position my hands as I close it. When I first bought it I found the visor steamed up very quickly. However, if I opened the chin air vent, it was so cold, at speed, that I had to close if again. I spent my early days of ownership constantly opening and closing the vent. To avoid this, I have just fitted a pinlock visor. That's solved the problem of steaming but it was very hard to fit as the pins themselves were badly fitted in the original, main visor. It kinked as I fitted it and refused to seal until, with a lot of pushing, pressing and flexing of the visor, it finally settled into place. Another pain about this helmet is that the upper ventilation system is very cold on the top of the head. There are large gaps in the helmet fabric at the top of the head, making the foam shell visible and directing air straight at the skull - probably nice in very hot weather but cold at anything below about 21 degrees. The helmet lining, because of the gaps designed into it looks like an upside down sling (I'm tempted to say, pair of Y-fronts) with little insulation and I imagine the helmet might feel quite cold to wear in winter. I will stick with the helmet because I accidentally scratched the visor in the first week of owning it and I would lose a lot of money selling it on. However, I still use the Justissimo for long journeys as it's much more comfortable (has a 5 star rating) and I can hear any appreciable difference in the noise levels. In truth, I wish I had replaced my old Justissimo with a new one - I was seduced by the claim that the C3 was quieter and by the assumption that Schuberth would be a reliable choice. It has proven to be a disappointing decision. By way of balance, the only thing I do like is the strap release mechanism which is quick and easy to operate.
