It feels very sturdy and has shown no signs of wear in about ~9 months. I frequently adjust the strap to fit different playing position, and it is very easy to do so. At the same time, I've nevver had it slip while wearing it. My only complaint is that the nylon is a little abrasive on the edges with bare skin, but I think it's just what you're going to get with a nylon strap.
