Just put the hdtv antenna on the tv. It was a simple installation. It worked right away with the tv. I teveived most of the local tv channels. So I am happy with the product

I never thought that at 75 I'd go off cable, but there's just crummy tv out there. So many nights when I end up watching ACORN TV (I love my British drama and detective shows), or PBS Passport. My neighbor suggested this antenna (he has one and they love it). I was very happy to get my main channels, which is all I cared about. Just so I get Today show in the a.m., but I get many more, about 10 channels. Unfortunately, I do face north towards Erie (I llive on the OH/PA border between Pittsburgh and Erie) and all my channels are towards Cleveland, Akron and Pittsburgh, but this is on a shelf on the wall against the garage and I'm still getting all these channels. Quite a surprise to me. Also, the HD quality is super. I get channels I never even heard of! I ended up subscribing to PHILO TV for $20, just to get about 25 cable shows (no sports or news for $20) and with that I get the 3 Hallmark shows and HGTV, along with so much more. So - so long cable. I highly recommend this product. It's small and unobtrusive. My neighbor has his tv on the window wall so his is in the window (mine won't work that way) but we get the same channels. AND 3 PBS stations!

Because our house is set up with the TV located in the back side of the house behind two or three walls, the usual flat antenna did not work very well, needed to be more directional. I purchased this one in hopes it would work better and it does. It is very much directional, but because it stands on top of our TV cabinet, it can be turned, very easily, to pick up the HD TV signal from different directions. Picture is as good as cable or satellite. .

I will self admit I am not at all tech savvy, so when a friend suggested getting a digital antenna for a secondary tv in my house I was beyond skeptical that I would be able to figure out how to hook it up let alone set it up. The instructions that come with the product are simple and not a million steps, the cord on it is long enough I was easily able to reach a window without having to rearrange things for a better signal. As I read in other reviews it does help to have it up higher in the window, the difference for me was about 10 channels so if you have that possiblitiy definitely take advantage.

I purchased this antennabecause we haven’t had cable in a while but I missed having the news. I had never used an antenna so wasn’t sure what to expect. Actually it work as adverised,First it was very easy to set up. It fits nicely just on the wall behind the tv, so it’s nice you don’t have to stick it on a window. I’m not sure how far we are from the tower so I keep it on long range and we get a little over 30 channels, all the local news and main prime time which is so nice to have now. The picture quality also really impressed me. We live in an area that rains a lot and I have had no issues with the reception, it comes in clear and beautiful you’d never guess it’s was an antenna.

It works! I had doubts until I decided to purchase it. Setted up in the living room, program the channels and vola! You need to move the antenna around to get the best signal reception, the higher up the better the reception. Set up was easy and the instructions are good. I would not get it if you live in the poor reception areas. For the price I would recommend it. Cancelling my cabel subsription.

I use the flat type indoor antennas on a couple TVs in the house and both work very well for an indoor antenna. When we recently upgraded an 5 year old or so 7 inch TV to a 18inch in a small room I still used the 7" TV antenna which is nothing more than a short pole antenna (like a short car radio antenna) on a 4 foot wire. Got 13 stations. Thought I would upgrade to this antenna as it would look nicer than a flat one, and it had some rave reviews. Well I don't know where those rave reviews are coming from as this thing is a waste of money. It picked up only 10 stations, even with the "amp" plugged in and sticking it in a window, and even trying it again in another location. Cost me $40, requires an extra wire running around for power, and has less reception than a cheap, short, car type antenna. I would get much more gratification throwing this thing in the trash but $40 is $40 so its going back to Amazon.

I live 30 miles away from the local tv stations with flat ground between and I only get NBC and 2 other channels I never heard of. So I put the antenna at the ceiling and I got PBS, Create, NBC & 6 other channels I’ll never watch. I was hoping I could also get Fox, NBC and ABC since I got rid of cable. This isn’t my first try with indoor antennas and they have all disappointed but this one says 130 miles. I live 30 miles away from City 1 and about 60 miles away from City 2 so I should be picking up channels from both.Edit after 2 weeks: returning after I already through out the box so I hope I get my refund. The antenna stopped working a couple of days after installing.

La antena no sirve, no es posible sintonizar ningún canal dentro de mi casa. La voy a regresar y espero que me regresen mi dinero. Vivo en la Ciudad de México, en Coyoacán, muy cerca de las transmisoras y aun así la antena no capta ningún canal. La antena la probé en distintos lugares en el interior de mi casa y no capta nada. Cerca de la azotea sólo recibe tres canales.

Excelente
