Pong Rugged iPhone 6/6s Case - with built in antenna technology- Black

I've had this case for almost two years and love it. I used it on my iPhone 6S and it's held up really well. Over the past two years I've probably dropped my iPhone 6 or 7 times, as you do, and there's never been any damage to the iPhone or the case. The case still fits well and looks brand new.This case seems to be a nice balance between size and protection. The case is sturdy enough to protect my phone without adding all that much bulk. The case also fits snugly, but can be removed without too much effort, which I've appreciated the handful of times I've had to take the case off. Finally, all of the buttons work well and have held up over the years. I'm a big fan of the Pong case and can't recommend it highly enough.Update: I should also comment on the other big balancing act case manufacturers have to make, i.e. the smoothness of the case. Some cases are so smooth that holding onto them is hard and they slide across the desk like a hockey puck. Some cases are so "sticky" that they glue themselves to the inside of your pocket. Here again, the Pong case nails the balance perfectly. It's not too sticky or too smooth.

The built-in "antenna booster" has completely failed. My wife and I have identical iPhone 6's, identical cellular service(unfortunately, Consumer Cellular) and identical travel activities. Consequently, we have recently been together on trips to western and northwestern Iowa and parts of Missouri and Nebraska. And we have the wonderful bonding experience of frequently struggling together dealing with poor to NO cell phone service in several of these small town/ rural areas. But what really irks me is that, when just one of us does have coverage, it has invariably been her and her naked iPhone 6! She will get coverage WITHOUT a Pong case while I struggle and fail to connect, despite this super duper "antenna booster" case that Pong persuaded me to buy...with their phony baloney claim of superior coverage. I hate paying a premium for a touted feature that does not exist. I should not have trusted Pong and it's false antenna booster claim.

There are some magnetic mounts where you stick an adhesive to the case or you put a piece of metal between the phone and the case so you can use a magnetic mount ----When you put that metal in there, that makes it doesn't work. Pong customer service told me that.If you don't want to use a magnetic mount, this is a great case. If someone would make a youtube video testing the effectiveness of this product while having a piece of metal between case and phone or using the adhesive magnetic surface, that would be helpful.Other than that, I'm happy to have given it to my Mom, cause she puts her phone to her head all the time.

I've had this case for 4 month now, it still works pretty well. I don't think it helped me with the reception and truly It is expensive. But I had a pong sleek case before and loved it's design, so I bought the second pong case. The rugged version gives phone more protections while still looks pretty good. The case fits snugly to the phone. I do like the material better than the sleek version as it gives you more grip. The only complain I have is if you put it in your jean pocket, it gets colored from the pants but most of the color does come off when you wipe it. I have a white case.

I bought this case primarily because of the built-in antenna and reduced radiation exposure claims. Though I have no way to prove the claims, I feel that I get better signal strength than before using it. Also, I love the feel of the case. I have dropped them few times, and the phone has come out unscathed. The reason I took 1 star away is that the case does not protect all sides (it's exposed at the bottom).

Great protective case for both shock and screen, also noted that the phone does not get as hot like before. Cant say anything about radiation other than the heat reduction, though slight better reception noticed and feels good to hold, Like my favorite leather wallet only it has a more rubber like texture. I would Highly Recommend it to my friends, proof of that is i just ordered another for my Samsung Galaxy S5. :)

I initially bought this case in 2014. It lasted 3 years before normal wear and tear had it falling apart a bit. I bought a new one thinking it would last me another 3 years but the edges started ripping off within a week of having it.

I couldn't say whether this product does any of what it claims or if it's placebo effect, but it was priced just low enough for me to give it a try. It held up as a decent case. As far as anything beyond that, I couldn't truly say.
