This lug may not be suited for all applications. They are a deal for what they are, made in China lugs. They are not marked as suitable for use with copper or aluminum. Cu./Al, so I doubt that theses are UL tested, if it matters. The description states tinned copper. This type of lug is designed to be used with electrical conductive grease, like SS 30 for cu./al. or Noalox if you are using aluminum wire. Even some UL listed lugs have this space at the end for the air to escape and disperse the lubricant in the lug.

Not closed design....
"closed design seals out the moisture" HA.. Look closely at the pictures (the one with the crimping tool you can see they are not fully closed.. I'll keep them I guess. To much bother to return. Just have to make sure my heat shrink goes over the hole. Other wise they seem ok for the price.

Poor Quality. Avoid.
The metal on these is very thin. The ends are not completely "capped" off. I thought this was a deal, its NOT. I would avoid these, there are better products.

Dollar store lugs.
These are not heavy duty lugs. The material is as thin as you could make it. They can probably make someone a nice necklace.
