Interceptor Vertical Laminar Flow Hoods are the latest in the line of Interceptor products Includes variable speed blowers with solid state speed control. Working sash opening is 12" with full opening of 19.5". Base stand is fully welded and mechanically adjustable from 30" to 36" in one inch increments. Available in five standard sizes 2', 3', 4', 5', 6' with custom sizes available upon request. The VLF is designed specifically to provide product protection. This is accomplished by the use of HEPA filters removing 99.99% of particulates at .3 microns while disposable pre filters extend the HEPA filter life by capturing larger particles. Interceptor VLF design provides for ISO Class 5 environment. Static pressure is measured across the work area by front mounted filter pressure gauge. Interceptor VLF features a 10 degree angled self-closing sash (locks open for loading) and sidewalls which are made of tempered safety glass. Rear panel is louvered to minimize air turbulence in the work area. T5 fluorescent lamp illuminates the work area.
