This knife uses quality materials, nice craftsmanship, blade centers beautifully, nice action, smooth with positive lock up, but what scares me is the blade shape, it is VERY thin almost all the way to the spine, it doesn't look as if it can take much abuse as a work knife, it's more of a slicer, very light but a bit thick in handle profile. I'll use it for a while and if it holds up I'll give it another star. Received 10/2/19 Update: after two days of use this knife has grown on me, I'm still nervous about the thin blade but, so far so good. 10/13/19 update: good luck sharpening this knife, most of my knives are m390 and I have a lot of experience in sharpening them with a kme, the edge rolls over no matter what I do, either this is a bad batch of m390 or it was improperly heat treated. Lowering the stars to 4.

I like the knife, but would like it more if it opened a little easier. You need to flick you wrist a little to get it to open. Without that wrist flick, the blade just open's partially. Although the knife stays pretty sharp, the blade steel can stain easily, so make sure you keep it clean. Other than that, it is made very well, and has a nice look with the blue anodized liner.

I love this knife! The action is snappy, the build is solid, the steel is superb. Definitely has hogged all my pocket time and the other knives in my collection are quite jealous. The only downside is the handle material feels a little cheap, the front choil-ee thing should have been made bigger to make it more usable, and the handle could have been shaped more ergonomically. Other than those little things, it’s a great knife, very.....practical 😁

Excellent knife. It has become my favorite daily carry knife. Arrives very sharp and well manufactured, great attention to detail. I returned the item because I found it much cheaper elsewhere but otherwise love it.

We has a well-deserved reputation for quality; however, qc missed this one. Persistent lock stick makes an otherwise nice knife less than desirable. Returned.

This knife isn't going to jump out at you and scream 'look at me!'. What this knife *is* going to do is impress anyone who actually uses knives on a daily basis (me), anyone who makes them (me), and anyone who values practicality and performance over flash (also me). It's the little things on this knife that make it stand out to me. Small details such as the bevel on the front of the flipper that forms the choil, eliminating any sharp corners. The beveled and milled out liners, reducing weight while keeping strength. The absolute perfect high hollow grind, with no unevenness. The rounded corners on even the liners, eliminating hot spots. The understated lack of advertising all over the blade (attention Cold Steel!). The perfect blade centering and smooth flipping operation. The absolute perfect detent pressure...strong enough to keep the knife closed, not so strong as to make it difficult to manipulated...you'd be surprised how many manufacturers can't get this right. This knife is seriously close to perfect, to me. If I have one complaint, I wish the stop pin was a bit more substantial. I purchased this knife from another vendor, but if you have any doubts, leave 'em at the door with this one. No, it's not going to impress anyone at first sight...this knife isn't a supermodel. This knife is more like an attractive woman with a world-class personality and a strong work ethic.

very good factory edge, well centered blade and buttery smooth action. Love the g10 scales. M390 at this price point is a great plus. one tiny remark: should go for one hue of blue only instead of 3 and i would have prefered to have your We Knife classic logo on the pivot. Anyways, great object
