The hose is a decent hose, but is a standard hose that was made and repackaged and relabeled by multiple companies around the industry.It is over priced, for the holder it comes on is cheaply made.You can pick up a better house mount and the same hose for cheaper if you buy them separately.This mount makes this 2 stars, as it looks much better than it is.I picked up a $39.99 hose mount on prime for 13.10 shipped. It holds your hose attachments and is called the Suncast Deluxe Garden Hose Hangout.Much better to go that way.

What I quickly learned is that you MUST uncoil the entire hose from the holder before you turn it on. You cannot use this hose while on the holder, or simply uncoil what you need. When the hose becomes pressurized, the entire coil expands itself off the holder and into a big coil mess. You will find yourself untangling a 75 ft garden hose if you do not uncoil the entire hose off the holder before you turn it on.This is a small 1/2 ID hose (once pressurized), do not expect the same pressure or volume as a 5/8" or 3/4" garden hose. The pressure is enough for light jobs and watering flowers, but don't expect to clean your deck with it.Overall this is a nice gimmick if you need something portable to put in your RV, but for $40 I feel it's overpriced and low quality. If you've got room for storage, get a portable hose reel and a 3/4" quality hose.

I bought this hose since it is such a pain to roll up a long stiff hose perfectly after every use. I have to use my hose every single morning as I live in the hot desert and have a lot of potted plants throughout the yard. I love that this hose collapses into a short malleable hose that is easily, quickly and neatly stored after each use. Also, the adjustable nozzle allows me to spray plants at the far side of the yard, power wash dirt off the tile, trickle water into smaller plants and shower the leaves gently. I also power wash the dust off my furniture every morning to keep my patio ready for guests and relaxing on my loungers. I’m very happy w my new hose! It serves its purpose and then some!!

This is one of those things that I keep wondering why I didn't purchase it sooner? Hubby and I just love it! It is so easy and light weight to carry around the yard for different jobs. Perfect for giving the dog a quick shower in the back yard. The hose is light weight enough that our kids are able to get it out and hook it up for us. After connecting the hose to the outside tap and turning on water it quickly fills and expands with water. We like that the hose head has a bunch of different settings for when we need more or less pressure. And since this hose is so easy to move around we bring it back into the garage when we are finished with it, rather than leaving it out in the sun and weather, which I'm certain will extend its life. This is our "go to" hose now, our gigantic old hose is just collecting dust in the garage.

As others have said the reel is pretty cheap but at least it gives me someplace to put up my hose when I'm done. The hose itself works well and seems pretty sturdy. It's interesting to watch it squirm as it shrinks when the line is emptied. I do appreciate the light weight and maneuverability of it. Not terribly impressed with the sprayer. Most of the settings result in pretty much the same thing. Not a defined spray at all. Too soon to say how long it will last so I'll check back.

I decided to give this hose a try due to the ease of which I've seen them being used before. I have this heavy duty long garden hose, that is built like a truck, but also weighs as much as one! I wanted something that would be easy to just grab, give a quick spray, and put up.This review is basically for two different parts. 1. The hose. 2. The nozzle.As far as the hose goes it definitely is light weight and very mobile. It flexes easily even while pressurized. I did not experience any kinks while using it during my test, but I could see where this design may succumb to kinks/knotting more than my heavy hose. The ends look to be brass with a convenient shut off just before the nozzle.Speaking of the nozzle. It has a very nice selection of spray options and seems to be tough enough to be dropped without fear of breaking. The one thing that I did notice was that the "stream" or "jet" setting, did not produce as long of a stream as the "firehose" nozzle that I had connected to my old hose. Not a huge deal, but I figured I would note it.*Side note* I didn't really bother with the holder that came with the hose at it seemed pretty cheap and I wouldn't use it to store my hose anyways.Overall as long as this holds up well I have been happy with my purchase.

So I was thinking about long time to buy one of these and I finally did my husband it’s always fighting with me because I leave my house all over the backyard and I don’t not put it back to be pretty but the holes to go used to have is so heavy and he did not understand how heavy it for me to do that and I told him let’s buy one of these it’s so easy for me and our backyard will always look nice because these gets back together by himself he said no I finally received it I put it on and now my husband and I we love it it’s very very long because I have I have a big backyard and now my house after I water my plants it’s back in place and it’s not all over my backyard it looks so neat clean and nice so happy I made this decision just trust the future in the technology and get you one for yourself

I've only used the hose a couple of times, but so far it works just great and I sure love the lightweight advantage it offers. There's one tiny inconvenience with the sprayer: you have to keep pressing it to keep it spraying. The sprayer with my old hose would stay on once I pressed a button underneath and I got used to that. But no big deal, it has a strong pressure where I need it and that's what counts. A lot of people have criticized the reel that comes with it, but I'm using it and am grateful to have it. Buying one separately was much too pricey for me. Those may be fancier, but I'll gladly settle for this one and save a lot of expense. The brass connectors are very nice too.

This is classic old school fraud. The hose measures barely 18 feet. The description says 50 feet. No matter how hard I try, I can't seem to be able to stretch by 32 feet???
