These coasters are definitely as classy and high-quality as the pictures and description indicate. I really like them, I'll definitely get another set so I have enough on-hand when I have people visiting. They're weighty, sturdy and look great.In regards to other reviews saying the coasters stick to glasses with condensation...I think that's an issue with the glass more than the coaster. If the glass has an indented shape on the bottom, it makes a suction effect with condensation, and no coaster can prevent that unless it happens to conform to the exact shape of the bottom of the glass (or maybe if it's one of those cloth coasters, which I really don't like in the first place). These coasters don't give me any issues when I use glasses with a flat(ish) bottom.Only reason I'm not giving a fifth star is because they do seem a bit overpriced, but compared to the other, really cheap coasters I'm seeing here on Amazon, I'm willing to pay a bit extra for it.

From an aesthetic standpoint, they're perfect. The texture on the bottom is great for a glass table. However, what was possibly overlooked was the non-porous leathery material used where you set your glass. If you are drinking something that actually creates a ring of water, like something cold in a pint glass, the water will suction the leather to the bottom of the glass, leaving me wondering why my cup is suddenly so heavy after grabbing it, just in time to catch the coaster fall onto the ground / table. This has happened to me several times actually.Update: Downed to 3 stars, one per existing coaster (comes with 4, here's the story). Picked up an empty can having been there over night. I swear to God it bound to the pleather nonsense through the condensation drying and binding the can just enough. I picked it up level thinking there was liquid in it. It crashed to my hard apartment floor and rolled into an impossibly small crack between my stove and counter. GREAT!All this frustration over simply wanting to protect my glass tabletop seems nuts tbh. I'd love to see an update to this design, the material needs to either be altered to prevent that awful seal of condensation or just changed entirely to something more porous. The metal would be fine otherwise since you'd no longer be dealing with the deafening noise it makes when you drop it lol.

I bought a 2nd set of these after loving the first ones and needing more for when friends are over (not that that's been an issue since Covid uhhh). They are very heavy and durable. After a few months though I noted we started having trouble with cups sticking to them. They would sometimes hold to the cup until we had to pull them off or occasionally crashed down as we lifted a cup which is dangerous when around a glass coffee table. Also some of them have tarnished a bit and I can't seem to clean it off. I have washed them with water, soap, windex, and even tried CLR and it seems the sticky issue has more to do with material than any dirty contamination. I'm now ok with these but for the price I really hoped to have a life-long solution to protecting my furniture and instead I think 1-2yrs and they will look too cruddy to display and I'll find something else.

The product works as intended. Its a coaster and does that well. Was hoping for it to be a bit more absorbent then what it is but other then that it works. The coaster doesn't slide around and, so far, seems to be of a sturdy/durable design. Wish it was a little bigger. I know it fits most normal sized glasses and thats good but I would have liked for them to be a bit bigger because the condensation that forms on the coaster itself quickly fills up the space and you'll have to wipe it down with something to keep it from spilling over onto w/e surface you have it on. Other then that its a great product.

I actually bought them to put under the lion's paw feet of my 2-person slipper tub. I've come up with another plan for the "coasters" for the tub, so now I'll use them for traditional coasters in my library.The only reason I gave 4 and not 5 stars for durability and sturdiness is that if the bottom gets wet as it is made of velvet, it could be a problem. Cork would potentially be better, but likely wouldn't slide across a glass or fancy tabletop. That could be good or bad, depending on how someone wants to use them. Overall, I am over-the-moon pleased with the construction, thickness, appearance, and sleek design.

They look really great and make for a very nice coaster set, especially when company comes over. Definitely a must have for those who enjoy a bit of luxury in their life. They're pretty heavy and very durable. I'm happy with my purchase and I would definitely recommend this product.The only downfall was with the arrival of the coaster set, but the company actually reached out to me and apologized. I guess they've been having some problems with their shipping arrangements, but are working on fixing it. The coasters weren't damaged at all. Some of the packaging fell apart, so I guess it takes points off if i were reviewing product presentation. But I'm not. The coasters themselves are great, and the company really seems to care and take a lot of pride in what they do.

Love love love these coasters! I ordered one set and just ordered another for a high end office space. They shipped quickly with no issues. I attached a photo that shows the protected box they arrive in. To the left you will notice the elegant look of the leather and silver together, and to the right is the bottom of the coaster which is velvet to prevent scratching surfaces. So far, both staff and clients enjoy these coasters. They are heavier, yet thin, than any other coaster I have ordered on Amazon and reassures the quality of this product. I would highly recommend for any setting where you want to make a good impression. Comes with 4 coasters per box.
