The socks look fine and ran a little large but they may shrink with washing. I found the material hard and uncomfortable to my feet. I'll want to wear silk undersocks when I wear them with shoes so they don't irritate. I think I'll likely just wear them shoeless around the house this winter. After I posted this the seller issued a refund without my asking. I'm amazed at this and appreciate it very much.

Not as soft as my last pair of wool socks. They're okay.Edit: Dropping this from three stars to two. I thought they were just slightly itchy when I first tried them on, but trying to wear them all day is showing me that they're too uncomfortable to even wear. It feels like there's sandpaper against my skin. Maybe I'm just sensitive, but these socks feel terrible.

They are tight and the scratchy type of wool, not the soft type. I'm going to keep them but maybe just at the bottom of the drawer for when everything else is in the wash...

Very soft, great quality and they don't slouch down for a long time. After a full day, they get a little loose but that is to be expected. They are soft, wash and dry great and the colors are really nice too. I bought a 3 pack and then decided I liked them enough to buy another 6 pack. I would recommend!

Love these! Warm but not thick or scratchy. My new favs! I do wish they were a little longer on the calf so they'd be great with boots.

Nice thick warm socks. They're not scratchy as one review said. The ones I received are very soft. They will be a great gift for my mom for Christmas, whose feet always seem to be cold. Ha

They fit nicely but do feel slightly scratchy.. hopefully this goes away with a few washes. But still very cute !

Comfortable and warm. I've ordered a couple sets of these now and have not been disappointed. Seem to hold up in the wash as well.
