Excellent option for Tesla Model 3 owners who don't want to damage their cars
After 4 years, received a ticket/warning for no front license plate. As part of clearing the ticket, I had to prove I'd installed the front plate. I did not want to drill any holes into my car, nor attach with sticky tape that may damage the paint or be difficult to remove. This is very solid, doesn't damage the car, looks great, and holds up well in car washes. Great product--just more expensive than I feel it should be.

Well thought out, well documented and well packaged
A great product. Easy to install. The way an accessory should be no fuss no muss. My only ding on this product is the price point a wee bit pricey but you do get what you pay for.

Looks great on my Model 3!
I read a ton of reviews on different license plate holders for my Model 3. This one was actually not hard to install, and it looks great. Very sturdy and worth the money. This is the one to order!

New Instructions Make this a GREAT Buy
I was not able to install this because it seemed that the upper brackets were too short. I reached out to the company and they gave me the instructions pasted below. These instructions worked perfectly and now our T3 has a front plate. From the company:I'm sorry to hear you hit a snag while installing your bracket. Actually, the condition you are experiencing is correct and by design. Although, at first, it appears the extensions are too short, here are a couple of tips I have that will hopefully help.First, attach ONE SIDE AT A TIME. Start with the left side. When you're hooking the left extension, you'll want to push in with enough force on the left side of the license plate itself so that the lobe on the rotating extension clears the back side of the grille. Once it's hooked, move on to the next step.Second, attach the other side in the same way. Again, PUSH ONLY ON THE SIDE YOU ARE HOOKING. You'll want to push hard enough so the lobe on rotating extension clears the back side of the grille. You'll also see that you are compressing the large protective pad in the process. This is also normal. The bracket will flex quite a bit when you're doing this. Don't worry! It is make of a special allow that will bounce right back to the correct position when both sides are hooked. Also, the plastic grille on the Model 3 is made of a very resilient material. It is highly unlikely, if not impossible, that you will cause any breakage while doing the installation. That grille has to be able to withstand years of potential damage from road debris at highway speeds, occasional bumps into shrubs while parking, and snow/ice in cold climates. The grille is strong.Once you get the two extensions hooked, you will find that your bracket is straight and very stable. It's actually quite satisfying when you get it hooked. Be sure to install the two remaining black screws for added security. If these tips don't work for you, there is also the option of loosening the pre-installed black screws to give you a little more free play in the extensions. You may find this helpful if you don't want to push inward as hard. Be sure to tighten those screws when you're finished.Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to help out. Please let me know when you succeed - I know you will! I'll be here all day today if you need any additional help. Thanks again for your support!ThatGrin LLC

Sleek and worth the money
Super easy to install, sleek, and best of all no adhesive or screws to attach it on my Model 3. I was skeptical at first but after the final install step you can tell it is on there good no chance of it falling off. My only gripe is that there were no screw covers which would have made for a super polished look, I ended up getting my own.

Excellent, Well Engineered, and Built Product, Worth the Money
I was looking mainly for a temporary way to attach the front license plate, and this works perfectly for that, and also is great as a permanent license plate holder. I never tried the Tesla, glue-on license plate holder, so I can't really comment on that, except to say it can't be easy to remove, and would probably require buying a new one from Tesla if you wanted it back on. Also lining it up horizontally would take a bit of care.In contrast, this locates perfectly using the fins, won't damage the car, and is easily installed and removed. The trick to installation/removal in my opinion is to pull the top fin on the bumper towards you a bit, so the swing-around bracket can slip behind it, or slip off the fin for removal. If one just wanted to install momentarily, like for a border crossing or whatever, you can leave out the bottom screw, and in this case it can be put on in less than 1 minute, and removed in less than one minute, once you get the hang of it.An added bonus is that this product is American designed and manufactured, and both done extremely well, so it is easily worth the cost in my opinion. The only suggestion for improvement I can think of would be two get two Allen wrenches instead of one, since it is a special kind to discourage theft, and you might want a backup one to keep at home, but the company is very responsive if you contact them to purchase a backup wrench.

Shipped quick, installed quicker
Pretty happy with this product. Marketed claims were all accurate and not exaggerated. It’s well built, installs easily (though it does require some strength), and holds securely. I’ve done a couple thousand miles of driving at highway speeds since getting it installed without issue. I’ve even seen a few other Teslas at Superchargers with them installed!

Looks great!
It was a bit tough to install at first but I read one of the reviews, and that helped a lot. Install one side first, push on it just a bit then proceed to the other side and repeat. I bought a vinyl license plate to use with this, so that the front plate has a nice black frame. Otherwise, it is frameless.
