No, definitely not! 😃 My hairdresser recommended it to me when I was starting chemotherapy and although the chemo was cancelled after one session, I continued to use the Nioxin and my hair is in great condition! My Mum also uses it for medication-related thinning of her hair and loves it! 😃 xx

There are no ingredients listed on the product, the box, or the cans. Sorry.

Q: Can this treatment help with dandruff?

I buy this kit for my Mum who has thinning hair. Nioxin does a specific one for dandruff called Scalp Recovery Kit I believe. I don't think System 2 is particularly for dandruff.

Q: Do you use all 3 steps every time you wash your hair?

Yes. You use the shampoo, conditioner and scalp / hair treatment each time you wash your hair. I leave the shampoo on for a couple of minutes, then rinse, then conditioner for a couple of minutes, then rinse. Once you have towel dried your hair add a couple of squirts of the foam treatment and rub into your hair and scalp, do not rinse this off.
