Cuero Side Mirrors Can Am Maverick X3 Premium Aluminum w/ Direct & 1.875" Roll Cage Mounts

Wanted these for my Can Am X3. So excited when they came in. Then I tried to mount them... The clamps barely fit my cage. This is a problem since the part was specifically for my X3. It stretched out the holes so the bolts could not go in. It made the threaded holes shift from a c shape to more of a v shape. Then I contacted customer service. They wanted me to show them photos. How exactly do I show you the bolt holes have shifted just enough to not let the bolts screw in? I told them I was just sending them back and got a refund. Next time just offer some help. Also just be aware if you do buy these the set screws Mar the metal very easily. The metal is very soft. I may give them another shot but as the saying goes, first impressions are everything!

The mirrors arrived fast, packaged very well. Installed easily, in about 15 minutes had them both on and at the appropriate angle for my height. I very firmly locked them both into position using the set screws, to the point my small allen wrench started to bend. The right mirror made it roughly one mile down the trail. The left mirror made it roughly another 3 miles. The set screws are an insufficient installation for the mirrors. Loctite will be required at a minimum and hopefully they will stay on next time. For the price of the mirrors there should have been loctite provided or a different means of holding them in place. I am now missing hard ware for the mirrors and must try and source replacement parts. The only bright side to this purchase so far is the durability of the mirrors. Both mirrors fell off at over 40MPH and rolled into a rock filled ditch and survived fine with no damage to the glass. Will update the review when I find new set screws and try again with loctite

I was hesitant on the product quality and how well the mirrors were going to hold up, and the adjustability which was the most important. The BRP race mirrors from Can Am didnt last at all and the adjustability was crap for the price they charge with no replacement part. I have to give these Cuero Mirrirs 5 stars, it has full adjustability and theres replacement parts and visibility compared to the BRP mirrors you just cant compare. Awesome product for the price!

I replaced some piece of junk AXIA mirrors that never aligned correctly and the adjustment was minimal. On the X3 the cage is a 45* angle so it is hard to find a mirror that adjusts to fit without having the passenger mirror look like it is broken so we can see properly.These chupacabra mirrors are larger and LEGIT, plus the price is great!Thanks to the owner for answering all my questions and he also sent me the clamps for the cage in case I want to move them lower.

Easy to install, looks good, really increases vision to the rear and side of the car. Now the bad. The mirrors use two little set screws to lock it in place and keep it from rotating. Two completely backed out and are somewhere in Glamis. The remaining two were ready to fall out. I ended up running the rest of the weekend without them. I’m tempted to return them, but like the fact that they mount low on the “A” pillar. I emailed Chupacabra Off-road, but haven’t heard back from them. Beginning to think about cutting my losses and try something else. There’s so much potential with these mirrors, just dropped the ball on the fine details.

High quality product, solid and well made. Nicely packaged and timely delivery. The only reason I gave it four instead of five stars is that they send cap nuts for the mounting bolts and the bolts were about 2mm too long. Fortunately I had a black lock washer and a black washer for each nut so I was able to tighten them up adequately. The only other change I would make is maybe get them in a flat black to match the cage. Still looks pretty good, much better value than the factory mirrors.

I waited a while to review these mirrors. My initial impression when I opened the box was WOW! These are quite possibly the highest quality item for the money I have ever received from Amazon. They look great, fit great and stay in place. I couldn't be happier with a pair of mirrors.

I really like these mirrors. Well made and rugged. My only complaint is the set screws back out with vibration. Kit should include locktight and perhaps larger screws so they hold better. Set screws are recessed hex heads, which get clogged with mud. I replaced with screws that are not recessed so they’re easier to clean and use.
